The Palace

Tonight that day Kate was picked up she got outside her door she saw a huge car awaits for her she was surprised. The driver went to help her out.

"Miss Kate this way please The president is waiting for you" She got inside the car and left. She was taken inside Desmond's house she saw a big house with lots of good decorations of the pink and red rose flowers, swimming pool, bungeloos and a small bar.

"Is this really a house?" The car reached the door the driver opened the door for her, another maid showed up.

"Welcome miss Kate this way please the dinner is about to start" The door was opened Kate was looking at the decorations and the building. She was brought at the dining table she saw Desmond and James all together waiting for her.

"Welcome Miss Reporter you are 10 minutes late"

"My bad am sorry"

"Have a seat please" Kate sat down

"Is this really a house you live in?"

"Yeah it's my house why?"

"Nothing such a big wig you are"

"It's nothing now if you mind please lets start eating"

"Ooh okay sure Hi James"

"Hello reporter I mean Kate welcome home" Kate smiled and they started eating while having a little talk.

"So Mr Desmond"

"Am sorry in my house it's just Desmond please"

"Sure so Desmond tell me your secret on how tou archieved all this?"

"What's there to say?, Ever since I joined the orphanage I had one goal in my life and I always used to share it with my friend James. He was there for me whenever I needed help, bullied, laughed, broken he was the only one who treated me good. At first we were asked who do we wan't to he when we grow up everybody stood up and shared their ambitions but when I stood and shared mine they laughed at me I told them that when I grow up I want to be the first Rich man in U.K they took me as an entertainer, a joker but all among them there was one boy who always had faith in me, in my motives so he helped me out, we faced a whole more then worst on our way but we were there fir each other always like brothers I had his back he had mine. The two of us were stronger together untill one day I was picked up to go and study in china I thought my dream was all ruined I didn't want to go but James insisted on me to go he told me that "go and make sure you work hard brother I will ne waiting for you" so I left him in U.K orphanage while I got adopted in China. I had creepy and weird parents they used to beat me up gave me only one meal at a time. When father comes back home drunk he used me as his tool of rubbing and groping his foots he beated me up. Gave me drugs tending to sell for gangsters, asking me to Steal for him. And when I got sick he only used to give me pain killers he never took me to the hospital. I lost hope and one day I wanted to kill my self but Whenever I tried to do that I see James's face smiling at me telling me to get up and fight so I got back up again worked hard day and night with my fever untill a day came when A man employed me in his company I worked hard and then I started my own business and well here I am". Kate was shedding tears.

"Am so sorry you had to go through all of that, all of you, may your brotherhood last forever"

"What about you Kate? Tell us how you became a reporter"

"Nothing special I lost my parents when I was ten then my step mother took me in, I had one dream to become a roperter since it was the cheepest job that I can aford I worked hard and became it."

"Wow what a nice story"

"We all have surfered in a different way but yet here we are lets enjoy the meal"

"By the way the meal is so nice"

"I take that as a compliment" They all smiled and continued eating.
