Chapter 9 – Boss vs Boss.

Two creatures appears from the teleportation gate, they were at least 3 meters tall.

Creature made by combining multiple bodies together.

The creature had entered the room and started to charge straight at Parts Collector. They were bigger and stronger that puppet but he had superior speed, he manage to dodge all incoming attacks with ease. Suddenly a giants movements have changed, it was clear as day that somebody took over the command, their battle style didn't changed much but their attack were more in sync now, it was harder for the puppet to dodge them completely and he started to receive some damage.

(Bad…very…bad) – dungeon master realized that situation got very serious. Unlike him who can only give simple commands like attack, defend, and target enemy, opponents is able to give more complex commands. It was matter of time before his boss die.

Battle continued, boss monster had no time to attack since he needed to focus on defense and even when he managed to land attack because the other enemy would seize this opportunity to destroy him.

(…Sacrifice…) – Puppet realized that at this rate his servant will die without doing anything, he decided to sacrifice it since it was bound to die either way.

(…Attack…) – at this moment Parts Collector stopped dodging attack and rushed straight at enemy as soon as he received command.

Puppet rushed straight at the enemy, he tried punch him but he managed to dodge him and run past him, his target was the second Flesh Golem. In the instant he put his guard up to block incoming attack, in the instant enemy lost it arm but the other enemy approached from behind and attacked the puppet. Boss monster got send flying and hit the wall, the results were expected, unlike the small fries his opponents were boss type monsters as well. Suffered and unable to move, puppet got finished off with ease.

\Guardian of the floor 2 had died.\

Flesh giant with cut off arm started to pick one by one corpse of other undead and devouring them. The new arm had grown out replacing the missing one.

[Cannibalism – Power: Skill ]

By devouring members that belong to the same race you can recover some of your HP, MP and SP. Effect will increase if you devour member of the same type( For example Flesh Golem eating Flesh golem).

(…So…that…was…a…plan?) – dungeon master realized why enemy send a small flies first, he wanted them to deal with other monster and save the best for the last but since they were not able to deal with his boss monster, he was forced to send his aces to deal with the problem.

Something caught the attention of the dungeon master, there were no dungeon drops anywhere.

\During the dungeon invasion all form of dungeon drops will not appear, instead opponent will steal enemy monster miasma instead.\

Any monster that got slayed are transformed back into miasma and then stolen by enemy, so even if dungeon master manage to defeat enemy the enemy won't leave empty handed.

Dungeon master only had installed basic knowledge of the dungeon so he used dungeon core to find more information about what exactly is going on

\There can only be one invasion at the time, aggressor can't send additional reinforcement in turn defender can't generate new monsters.\

\Once invaders enter dungeon, they can't leave it until they manage to claim dungeon.\

\Attackers will win if they manage to kill owner of the dungeon and steal the core.\

\Defenders will win if all the enemies got eliminated or they stop their attack.\

Enemies summoned all their remaining forces from the gate and begin their march once again.

Puppet with human like appearance. The creature possess a human like face but without the eyes. It's basic stats are bit above Moving Mannequin. This creature are create with classes, the classes that this monsters can have are: Beginner sword user, Beginner spear user and Beginner bow user.

This time enemy used different approach, Flesh Golems were ones that were going first this time. Enemy probably wanted minimize the damage since he already lost half of his troops. Boss monsters were able to take down defenders but they had sacrifice some of their own troops to heal up.

They arrived shortly after to the second dungeon boss room.

Creature made out of the wood and steal. Unlike the other counterparts that possess regeneration abilities, he instead possess skill to overwhelm his opponents.

The second boss fight begin. This time it was strength against strength and as expected this time was way easier for opponents. Unlike the previous fight when opponent had superior speed this time opponent was same type as them.

Strength vs Strength, a simple fight but the problem was there were two opponents and some other undead. The battle was one sided once again.

(…Again…Attack…) – puppet decided to sacrifice his boss monster again since it looks like it would lose once again. He realized something while, undead needed mouth to eat so what would happened if he loses his head?

Golem struggle off the undead that were clenching to his body and did suicide run at the enemy golem while stomping to the death other undeads.

[Mecha punch – Power: Skill]

Attack with power full punch. This skill deals 300% of your basic punch power plus 10% for each level. This skill cost SP and MP. User will be temporarily not able to use their first after using this skill.

The head of undead giant got splashed onto the wall leaving the chunks of the flesh and blood. Between the chunks there was something that caught the dungeon master attention, it was a purple shards. The corpse of the enemy giant fall lifeless on the ground, by the look of things there was a purple gem that works like the creature core and it's located in its head.

Because of side effect of [Mecha Punch] the right arm was useless now so he decided to use other arm to get rid off other enemy but enemy realized the danger of the skill and used the mass of undead to lock golem left arm in place. Enemy giant approached the immobilized enemy and ripped off its head and pummel the body to the bits. The defeat of the golem wasn't meaningless, now dungeon lord know that enemy have a weakness, other monsters can't use it to their advantage but he can.

\Guardian of the floor 1 had died.\

\Invaders had entered the floor 0.\

The final floor, if enemy manage to kill the dungeon lord the puppet dungeon will be no more.

The floor 0 right now had combination of both monsters from floor 1 and floor 2 since dungeon lord is still constructing a new type in his laboratory.

The advance of the invaders were noticeable way harder, only single boss monster was remaining and 1/4 of troops were left after they reached the dungeon master room. A soon as undead giant opened the door a head pierced though his head.

What? You expected epic final battle? Nobody said that dungeon master can't attack as soon as invaders open the door, he didn't attacked before he wanted to observe his target but this time he didn't need to. Blame that guy for no getting the memo.

(…?...) – puppet though somebody was trash talking about him behind his back. Yes, narrator was trash talking about you.

The rest of the monsters were dealt in non-climactic way by the dungeon master so yea….why does this scene have a god damn narrator then? Oh right.

Puppet decided to collect corpses of the undead to study them.

\Congratulations! You managed to defeat all invaders!\

\Invaders will be turned into pure miasma and you will receive full amount of their worth.\

All undead creatures corpses got turned into miasma and feed directly to the dungeon.

(…) – puppet had silence rage moment, he was happy he got tons of miasma but he still wanted a test subject.

Welp, since there is nothing, interesting let's go to the dungeon that belongs to the dungeon master that attacked puppet dungeon.

"Bitch! Whore! Maggot! Larva! Trash! YOU GOT DAMM BASTARD!" – was cursing nonstop owner of the undead dungeon after his defeat at the hands.

"God dammed, my plan was to absorb nearby dungeon one by one and grow enough powerful to devour entire town and now both my army got annihilated meaning I can't attack other dungeon and my scout party got found out and killed by humans living nearby. My day can't get any worse…"

\New invaders had entered dungeon.\

"What now…oh…that is a lot....fuck"

Multiple rank E parties that came from Agravania town.

In front of the dungeon.

"Okay, you know the deal, we are here to officially close the dungeon since it started to rapidly evolving and we don't know how powerful it's right now. Guild believes it's H+ right now but there is possibility it has already evolved again. Remember out main priority is to destroy dungeon. Got it?"

"Got it!" – all the members of the subjection team replied.

The funny thing is, since undead beast dungeon failed to absorb puppet dungeon, he is still a rank H+ and he lost his invasion force he could use for defense as well, meaning he only have dungeon monsters to defend himself. There was 4 rank E parties that include 21 members in total so yea, it was overkill, they are not taking any chances.
