Most Significant

As I previously stated, I was a scientist in a prior life. Considered one of the greatest in my field, I'll be remembered as a hero or a villain in all history books.

Despite all of my accomplishments, this success may be the most significant of my life.

'I can crawl now, baby!'

Dong Qiu and Lady Yang accompanied me on this little trek, keeping an eye out for any sharp edges.

Dong Qiu and Lady Yang were both overjoyed when I crawled. They summoned the entire family to the living room to see me with pride.

While I of course was happy about it too, I still didn't have much time to spend. I was very curious about my looks. Despite the fact that my hair is as white as my mother's, I needed the entire image.

Everyone went berserk...in a strange way, after I started crawling with determination and goal.

Qiu Dong: "Oh, no! Take a look at Xue Xue crawling."

"He's very cute!" exclaimed Lady Yang.

"With this determination, he'll be a wonderful Practitioner," Nana says.

"Nana, I don't think you can presume something like that on this premise," Yang Hai says.

"Shut up, smarty-pants," Nana says.

"Xue Xue is like a lovely snow!!" says Yang Ya.

Hui Yang: "Keep an eye out, future ladies! My little brother will grow into a gorgeous young man!hehe!"

I limped to my target... Mirror, while my newfound family argued over trivial matters. I was pleased when I came to a halt and glanced at the image in front of me.

My hair was white with a light black tint on the ends that could not be seen normally, just as I had expected. If I must say so myself, my face was extremely cute, which explains the pleasant grins on everyone's faces when I do even the simplest of things. Aside from that, I can tell I'm significantly bigger than the normal infant. But it doesn't feel like they're overfeeding me or anything.

But that isn't important right now. I can finally sneak into the library, which is directly beside Yang Hui's bedroom, thank you limbs! once again the my ability to crawl. That's not at all unexpected. The only challenge is figuring out how to slip in unnoticed.

Lady Yang leaves me in my cribs at night and goes to her room, which is directly nearby the bed, to keep an eye on me. I can use pillows as a ladder to get out, but if Lady Yang or any of my brothers and sisters notice me, I'm afraid my time alone will be severely limited.

'Wait, when did I start calling them brothers and sisters...?'

Anyway, at the end of the day, it's a gamble I have to accept and keep as quiet as possible. I need to learn about the world and be prepared for any unforeseen circumstances that may occur.

It was already bedtime within a few hours. Every member of the household was getting ready for bed and bidding each other good night. Yang Ya came over to check on me, wished me a good night, and kissed me on the cheek.

Lady Yang finally arrived after a few minutes. Despite her everyday activities, she does not appear fatigued. She picked me up, causing me to stop crawling. She threw me into that godforsaken crib, which resembled nothing more than a prison to me.

She, too, hugged me and said good night before leaving. She never shuts the door because she needs to react quickly if I cry.

As soon as I saw her leave, I gathered my pillows into a type of ladder and grabbed my blanket to make my landing more comfortable.

'Success!'

I felt like I was reliving the Shaw-shank Redemption when I touched the floor. It was kind of a nirvana. However, the mission remains unsolved.
