Freezing and locating ability

The people in the town were very enthusiastic and by simply inquiring, Kai had found Molly's home. Obviously, nothing has happened to it yet.

According to the development of the story, Molly's father was killed by Sylar because his ability to freeze which was similar to Donnie's who can freeze anything. But Kai as the really Interested unless he can make ice out of thin air like Iceman, otherwise the potential is limited.

His main goal is Molly, a humanoid GPS. This ability is equivalent to teleportation or a space type ability. As long as the user think of you it's impossible to hide.

At this time, Molly's family is making dinner which looks like a normal family. Who would think not long after her father's head will be cut and her mother would be nail to the wall. (I'm not sure if this is true)

Knock*knock*knock*

Kai stood at the door and tapped on the door.

It didn't take long to hear footsteps followed by the door being open and a woman looked at Kia curiously "Who are you looking for?"

"I am looking for your husband, may I talk to him?" Kai asked with a smile.

"Please wait a moment" the woman turned around and should, not long after a man who looked ordinary came over,

"You are looking for me? I don't seem to know you"

"Sir, can we talk alone?" Kai asked with a smile.

James hesitated and Finally closed the door and followed Kai to the side.

"My name is Kai. The reason why I came to find you is simple, to save you and your family"

Kai's word made James stunned and said with displeasure "Sir, if you deliberately want to prank me you've succeeded"

"Your ability to freeze has been known by a person called Sylar. I'm not sure if you've heard of him but this person is a serial killer who hunt down people like you. He will not only kill you but also your wife, if he knows your daughter also have a ability he will not let her go. So, there are only to way to save your family, the first is to immediately pack up then move away and live your life in fear or…"

"Or what?" James hurriedly asked.

"Either lose your ability so that he won't be interested in coming here, you can stay away from supernatural things and live a safety life with your family"

Kai paused and said "I have the means to take your ability without hurting you. Of course, I have no intention of helping you so If you don't agree…I will have to force you!"

James was shocked to hear this. Kai felt the surround atmosphere became cold and looked down to the the lawn being covered in frost.

"Believe me, if I want to kill you it'll take a moment" Kai looked at him and said faintly.

James hesitated for a long time and eventually gave up "You…are you not really going to hurt us?"

"My purpose is you and your daughter ability….it can be regarded as saving your family. After all…it's good to save your other while achieving you goal isn't it?"

"Why should I believe you?" James asked.

"Because you have no choice!"

Inside a room on the second floor of Molly's house, Kai reached out to James shoulder. James looked Nervous and alert. After a long time, Kai suddenly removed his hand and James relaxed. He subconsciously clenched his fist but found he can't use his ability.

He then looked at Kai who smiled and a layer of frost appeared on his body before quickly dissipating.

"Wow, you actually took away my ability. This is…is incredible!" James saw Kai using his ability and couldn't help but be marveled.

"You should be glad, if you are on Sylar's list then you won't have any chance to breathe" Kai said faintly with a smile.

Kai was not so excited. This ability seems cool and strong at first glance but it's only drawback is that it's impossible to make ice out of thin air. It is not suitable for Kai and can be consider and extra ability and part of the Quest.

Oh, there is one more point that confirms Kai's doubt.

It is not the plane that generate strong ability but it depends on the strength. When he devoured Jame's ability it wasn't so hard and very smooth.

"You can bring your daughter over" Kai said and James quickly got up and went downstairs. Not long after he came up with a cute little girl.

Looking at her, Kai really lamented the fate of this little girl.

Originally, she was supposed to have a happy family of three but her parents died and her heart was filled with fear. Not long after she became a tool of the mysterious organization Noah worked for. They used her to locate superhuman and was almost killed.

Sometime, fate gives you a powerful ability that will bring you disaster.

Kai walked over, he reached out his hand and rubbed her head then began to devour.

The resistance is stronger then James.

However, much weaker then Claire's. Perhaps it's because of her age and her ability not being fully awaken which was the reason for the plot.

About ten minute or so Kai felt the ability merging into his body

"Alright, I'm finished"

Kai smiled and said "Since my business is finish, I will not bother your dinner. I hope you have a good night"

"are you sure? You don't need anything else?" James asked somewhat uneasy.

"Don't worry"

Kai patted his shoulder and turned around then left.

After acquiring three abilities the Main Quest is complete. Kai walked out happily and went back to the hotel to set off for New York.

"Could I have a map? Thank you"

Kai walked to a kiosk and bought a map. He glance at a person casually walking towards him. Not far away, a man with a cap was shopping at a hot dog stall next to him.

"Are you eyeing me? I don't think it's so easy to get my ability" Kai's mouth curled up and said softly.
