Good time to Drink.

The banquet was good and the atmosphere was lively. Qin Shi Huang and I as well as Yifei, despite her worry, had a blast.

Qin blessed us with his best dancers and musicians.

But, all things must soon come to an end. By the end of the night only Qin and I remained awake.

Just the two of us sipping our bottles of wine.

"Ahhh! You sure know how to party." I told the man.

" Hao! So, do you. But I want to ask, during our fight, it seemed like you were having fun as much I was, were you a soldier?" He asked.

I took another swig from the gourd he had given me and nodded.

" Yup. I was a part of my king's personal elite guard, the best of the best." I told the man.

Qin nodded and drank from his own wine taking multiple swings from the thick container.

" You seemed like it. You fight close and tight. But you seem rusty. Perhaps time has softened you." He said.

" Qin, you have no idea how right you are. But it isn't just my fighting that's changed. Qin I've been alive for a long time. Many of my friends, my brothers, and sisters are gone. I am all that remains if a bygone era. I used to sepnd my days fighting and training. Then hunting and searching for my daughter. And then ruling for a bit. Only now, after all these years do I see the importance of enjoying life to the fullest." I told the man. I didn't know why I was keen on telling him this information. But he just seemed like a guy I could trust.

" I know how that feels. Trust me I do. But why tell me all this?" He asked.

" Because, you just remind me of an old friend, I told you about Leonidas. You and him are exactly the same, in some ways, In others you two are just completely different. And for the first time in a long time I feel like I can connect with someone who's just like me, in some ways. I HAVE to specify that. SOME." I told the man.

Qin laughed loudly his voice easily filling the hall.

" I appreciate that. Guess, I can share something myself. You know my name isn't actually Qin Shi Huang." He spoke.

" It isn't?"

" Nope. It's Ying Zheng. I changed my name after becoming emperor. A new me a new legacy type thing. Ya know?"

" Yeah. I know, So what's the story behind that?" I asked the man. I wanted to know more about this enigma.

" It's a long story to tell, are you sure you want to listen?" He asked me.

I nodded and he Laughed.

" Well, then listen up and listen closely for this is the story about how I became the greatest emperor in all of china."

Qin regaled me of his journey from captive to the emperor of all China. It was an inspiring tale to say the least. He told me how he suffered from the negative thoughts of others so badly that they eventually began taking a physical toll on his body. So, badly that he had to walk around with a blindfold in to avoid their suffering. He told me about his adoptive mother Chuan yan and how she trained him and raised him despite his lineage. How he claimed all the kingdoms of China with his own fists and how he, unlike any before him, stood against the demon Chiyou and defeated him in battle to become the true king of kings.

It was a glorious tale and only further cemented how truly great this human was in my eyes.

" So, what do ya think?" He asked after finishing his tale.

" Hahaha! I gotta say thay was quite an amazing story." I told the man.

" Well, what about you? What mysterious forces have brought you to this path?" Qin shi asked. He swirled what remained of his wine around in his gourd and eyed me.

" Are you sure you want to know?" I asked him

Qin scoffed and then grinned at my obvious rebuttle of his own words.

" Well, Qin let me first ask you something. Do you believe in the gods?" I asked the man.

" Hao! Of course, I do." he replied.

" And what do you know of the lands west of china?"

" Absolutely nothing!!!" He exclaimed happily.

" Well, what if I told you that there are other countries in the world, each with their own gods."

" Does it matter, what I think?" He asked.

" Heh! Good answer. Well, I must warn you this story is going to sound crazy and unbelievable, and I may use words you don't understand so just stop me if you need me to explain anything. Now, this story begins in a land called Sparta."

I began explaining to him the story of my own origin, leaving out certain parts about myself that I felt he didn't need to know. I didn't want anyone to know I was a god or anything. Not yet anyway.

Nevertheless, he listened closely and every now and then would stop and ask questions.

All in all we had a good laugh at ourselves. And in the so-called greatest king I found A brother, of which I hadn't had in a long time.
