On this particular day, Magneto's proclamation reached the eyes of countless individuals, including Carl and his companions.
As evening descended, the X-Men, having concluded their meal, reconvened and gathered once more in their morning office.

Storm silenced the television and turned her attention to Carl, Shadowcat, and the others, her demeanor composed as she inquired, "What are your thoughts on this matter?"
Wolverine, arms folded across his chest, leaned against the wall, his expression grave. "He's declaring war on the United States government, and they won't take kindly to his challenge."
Shadowcat voiced her concerns, her tone tinged with worry. "This could lead to the deaths of many mutants."
Carl shook his head slightly, remarking, "It's not just about the casualties. The situation has escalated into a conflict between two races: mutants and humans."
"In less than a day, over a dozen cities have been targeted, with attacks meticulously planned and executed."
"It appears that Magneto's power exceeds our expectations," Carl continued calmly.
Considering the circumstances, it's logical. While Professor X serves as the beacon for mutant pacifism, Magneto leads the rebellion.
Not only is he formidable in strength, but he also once commanded the Hellfire Club. Coupled with the Mutant Brotherhood's support, his power is unsurprising.
This Magneto isn't the solitary figure depicted in films.
After the skirmish with Stryker several years ago, he managed to evade capture for three years, despite the relentless pursuit by the United States government and the X-Men.
Magneto clandestinely wields influence far beyond imagination.
For behind him stands a legion of mutants.
Among them are not only those who openly rebel against humanity but also those who remain unseen, holding social status and wealth.
Though they may not step into the forefront, they offer Magneto financial backing, resources, and intelligence.
Their motives vary, but ultimately, it's about securing their own interests.
Perhaps Professor X is among them.
As Carl's mind spun with myriad thoughts, dissecting the day's events, Wolverine and the others harbored differing views.
"I believe we should intervene and put a stop to this," Wolverine asserted solemnly. "If Erik continues on this path, it could ignite a full-blown war between mutants and humans, with unimaginable consequences."
"How do we stop them? We don't even know their whereabouts."
After speaking, Storm glanced at Shadowcat, Iceman, and the others, and said in a low voice, "And now Jean has joined them, along with Magneto and his men."
"Do you think we're the Brotherhood's opponents now? Or are we going to sacrifice some of our companions?"
Storm's words made Wolverine frown.
With Scott seriously injured and comatose, Professor X deceased, and the X-Men's strength significantly depleted, even with Carl joining, they remained weaker than before.
Facing the Mutant Brotherhood's current strength, victory seemed unattainable.
The strongest opponents known at present are Magneto, Jean, and the Mutant Juggernaut who directly confronts Carl.
There is also a Mutant who emits powerful shockwave attacks, the Nightcrawler who suppresses Storm at close range, the fire manipulator John, and hundreds of ordinary Mutants.
Currently, only Logan, Ororo, Carl, Kitty, Bobby, and Peter remain in the X-Men.
In terms of overall strength, they are clearly outmatched, leaving Wolverine silent for a moment.
At this moment, Colossus Peter said solemnly, "But in the face of Mutant-related chaos, the X-Men have a responsibility to intervene, otherwise it will be difficult to justify."
"Peter is correct," Carl unexpectedly nodded.
Seeing this, everyone couldn't help but look at him. His actions that morning had dispelled any notion of treating him as just a fifteen-year-old boy.
Carl smiled and continued, "We, the X-Men, indeed have an obligation and responsibility to combat these criminal Mutants, particularly the troublesome Mutant Brotherhood."
Carl's tone shifted, "But with the professor's demise, we're unable to locate those Mutants accurately and swiftly, and Scott's severe injury has greatly diminished our strength."
"So we need time to re-coordinate. If the officials find Miss Ororo, you can use this statement to deal with them," Carl advised.
"As for the Mutant Brotherhood, I think we can put that aside for now and cease hostilities. Until we clarify their main purpose, there's no need to engage in conflict with them. It would only spread our forces thin and lead to greater losses," he continued.
Storm nodded in agreement at Carl's words.
At that moment, Carl really didn't want to deal with Magneto's troubles. He had just completed Superman's transformation, and his strength was at its peak.
With each passing day, his strength would increase significantly.
For instance, in just half a day, his grip strength had increased from 52 tons to 75 tons, and his punching strength had skyrocketed to 400.
His growth rate in one day surpassed that of the entire previous week; it was a staggering rate of improvement, and it was only the beginning.
This was the kind of growth rate Superman should have.
