Wakanda

As expected from Tony, his sentimental mood didn't last. His train of thought took such a sharp turn that the people around him gasped in surprise. He pivoted from sighing to proposing a party in the blink of an eye!

"Forget it, I'm not attending cocktail parties! There are a lot of things to think about, so I'm going back! Also, what about Nick Fury? Are we keeping everything a secret from him?"

Captain America immediately refused Tony's proposal and asked about Nick Fury instead!

"We have to keep it secret from him! If he found out about our alliance, he would definitely interfere in our operations! I know his kind too well. Those agents are the best at ruining things!"

Tony hurriedly said, already forgotten about the party. His tone was full of distrust, likely amplified by the stunt Nick Fury pulled with Black Widow last time!

Li Yue understood about Tony's worries. After all, Nick Fury had prepared the Avengers project for more than a decade, with little to show.

However, not only Tony and the others had formed the Justice League faster than Nick Fury, but they had managed to gather almost all Avengers candidate! It would be weirder if Nick Fury wasn't enraged! His Avengers initiative had ended before it could begin!

But Li Yue felt that it wouldn't matter if these people wanted to hide the Justice League. It wouldn't last long. SHIELD seemed to be monitoring Dr. Banner, so his disappearance would definitely ring some alarm at SHIELD.

Moreover, Li Yue and the others weren't exactly clandestine when they went to the small town and swaggered directly to Banner's house. SHIELD's omniscient eyes would've known that Banner had disappeared after meeting them!

"Alright, I understand! It's unthinkable for a soldier like me to willingly deceive my superior! But it doesn't matter; we're comrades who have gone through life and death situation together!

"Anyway, I'm going back first. Remember to call me if anything happens, I'll get to you as soon as possible!"

Captain America stood up from the sofa and said his farewell.

Both Captain America and Thor left the villa without joining the party. Thor cited that he needed to return his girlfriend's card, so he flew using Stormbreaker to the sky and left at high speed!

"This world is really crazy!"

Banner sighed as he watched Thor fly away. He had only learned about Thor's identity: the legendary God of Thunder! He felt the last bit of his scientific worldview crumbling!

Even mythical beings had appeared in front of him! Banner wouldn't be surprised if aliens would appear next!

Banner had no way of knowing, but aliens really will appear in front of him very soon!

After Captain America and Thor left, only Li Yue, Tony, Banner, and Annie were left in Tony Villa!

"Tony, how is your research on nanotechnology? Can you make the nanoarmor I described to you before?"

The group saw Captain America and Thor off before returning to the villa's living room. Li Yue curiously asked about Tony's progress in nanotechnology research!

"Li Yue, you really are a shameless one. Do you think science and technology could advance overnight? And it's nanotechnology, I'm basically starting it from scratch!

"Even for a genius like me, I still need time to find a breakthrough, alright! My current armor was the work of many sleepless night! Making something like you described would take at least a year! And that's being generous!"

Tony's tone was full of helplessness. Even his genius mind had encountered many bottlenecks and difficulties in the nanotechnology research and development.

After all, Li Yue only gave him a basic description of his future nanotechnology armor, without any accompanying technical information. Tony had to start from the very beginning, crawling blindly forward!

"Mr. Stark, are you studying nanotechnology right now? Are you going to implement it to your armor?"

Banner joined the conversation with a curious tone. He recognized the word nanotechnology, which piqued his interest. After all, he was still a scientist! He just had to go on a long hiatus because of Hulk!

"Oh, I almost forgot! We have someone who speak the same language as me here!

"Dr. Banner, you are much more useful than someone like Li Yue who only knows how things look, not how they work! Let's go to the underground lab now—I will walk you through my research. I hope you can give me some pointers!"

Tony was pleasantly surprised when he heard Banner's voice. He recalled that Banner was a scientist on the same caliber as himself. Banner would definitely be more help than the idle-handed Li Yue!

"Li Yue, you can just do whatever. I'll be down in the basement with Dr. Banner!"

Tony impatiently dragged Banner to the laboratory!

"Sigh, forget it, let's just go visit Wakanda!"

Li Yue sighed and muttered softly as he watched Tony brought Banner to the underground lab.

Li Yue initially wished that Tony could advance the nanotechnology research and apply it to the armor already, so he could ask for a nano-armor for himself and avoid the embarrassing situation due to his clothes being burned and destroyed by his powers and speed!

But Tony's level of technology was still far from the level that he wanted, so he would be better off going to Wakanda and hope that he could get a set of Vibranium battle armor!

"Wait, Li Yue, what did you just say?"

Tony suddenly stopped in his track and turn around to Li Yue when he heard Li Yue's whisper, his tone filled with excitement!

"What's wrong?"

Li Yue was also puzzled. Why was Tony so excited?

"I think I just heard you say 'Wakanda'. Do you know Wakanda? Or have you seen Wakanda in the future?" Tony asked Li Yue.

"I did say Wakanda. What's wrong? Are you looking for this place?"

Li Yue had an inkling based on Tony's excited tone!

"Of course, I heard that there's a very special metal called Vibranium there. It's the hardest metal in the world.

"I had considered using that metal to make my armor, but even with my wealth, I still can't find any supplier for that metal. Honestly, after you told me about nanotech armor, I almost totally forgot about Vibranium!

"From what I have gathered, Vibranium comes from a place called Wakanda! Li Yue, is the Wakanda you mentioned that same Wakanda? Also, what are you going there for?"

Tony rambled in details about why he was excited about Wakanda.

"Yeah, I think we are talking about the same Wakanda. That place is a world beyond wildest imagination! Their technology is decades ahead of the rest of the world!"

Li Yue had no reason to hide the existence of Wakanda.

"What? How could their technology be ahead of the world? You've got to be kidding me, according to my data, Wakanda is just a tiny, backward African country!"

Tony was in disbelief at Li Yue's words!

"If you don't believe me, let's go and take a look tomorrow!"

Instead of elaborating, Li Yue proposed that he and Tony go there directly!
