Chapter 102: Becca

Jack's warning came just in time, and Sylvie also moved fast.

"Stay quiet!" Jack pulled Sylvie back and stopped her, while also looking at the person in front of them.

At the same time, Jack and Bucky almost gasped together, their eyes widened, staring at the other person in shock.

Sylvie was shocked, too, but not as much as they were. He was just a little surprised. The person who easily subdued him turned out to be a woman.

Although they didn't care about Loki's life or death, they needed his help to meet the Time-Keeper.

Only Bucky slowly stood up and looked at Becca, who was climbing the ladder to leave. "Hey, can I ask why you became a time criminal?"

Jack's eyes lit up hearing this question, and he looked at Becca. He wanted to ask just now, but he wasn't very familiar with her, so he didn't want to speak up. Bucky asking now was just right.

Becca's body shook a little as she climbed the ladder when she heard the question, and she slowly let out a sound of pain, regret, and anger.

After a long time, she spoke in a low voice, "Because I killed Steve."
