Marvel: Gacha Game

Playing a gacha game in the Marvel multiverse, this definitely won't be extremely annoying.

Chapter 6: Bullshit Backstory

"So, how exactly did you become a ninja?"

The white haired ninja rolled his eyes and spoke with a monotone voice, "I was orphaned at a young age and sent to an orphanage run by the Hand where I became one of their members."

"Ah I see. So why are you leading me to the base belonging to the Hand?"

"Because you said you'd kill me if I didn't."

"Oh come on. I know you don't care about your own life. A sad sack of shit like you doesn't have anything to live for. It would've been better if you'd at least killed yourself so you wouldn't have to see me kill your friends."

"..."

"Did I trigger you dumbass? Maybe if your bitch ass parents didn't abandon your sorry ass you'd still be in China."

"What type of shinobi are you? Don't you have to follow some type of honorary code?"

"Honorary code? I've been killing since I was 12. I was sent to school to learn how to slit people's throats, not how to sell drugs like you do bitch."

I noticed his hand slightly twitched when I called him a bitch. Psychological warfare, man I'm good at this.

"Besides, there are only two rules that shinobi must follow. Never betray your village, and don't kill shinobi of your own village."

"Your institute of shinobi is extremely horrible and corrupt."

"Oh yeah? Your group of useless ninja is lead by some crybaby bitch who misses her daughter. At least our leader has cool powers that aren't as vague as "chi manipulation", what the fuck does that even mean?"

"You watch your mouth. The secrets of chi are beyond the understanding of humans."

"So you don't care about me insulting you but you do care about your precious leader's image being shit on? What a fucking dog, you truly do suit your position. At least a slave doesn't voluntarily bark."

"Insulting me will not give you the result you desire. I have been trained to become the perfect weapon, all of my emotions are perfectly under control."

"Perfect weapon? All you know how to do is swing some shitty sword around. You don't even know how to use chi, a person with a gun is more useful than you."

"You do realize that I'm leading you to your death right? Madame Gao will destroy you."

"Madame Gao? That old hag who can heal people? Do you really think a wilting old woman can kill me?"

"You do not know the secret art of chi. No human under the sun can bear the might of Madame Gao."

'Are all the ninjas trained by the Hand really that deluded or is Madame Gao specifically making her men think like this?'

"Madame Gao is just a regular human with a longer lifespan. Any random member of the Akatsuki could run through the Hand without any problems."

"The Akatsuki?"

Now the ninja seemed genuinely interested, my intentional gloating had finally gotten somewhere. I had big plans for this random ninja, and he had taken the first bait.

"The Akatsuki is the organization that I belong to. It's centered on stopping supernatural events and threats from attacking this planet. Threats like a group of really old people with magic."

"Oh really? An organization centered on stopping threats has you as one of it's members? A douchebag teenager who carries around an unconscious monster?"

"Have you ever heard of the Uchiha clan?"

"No."

I pull the Akatsuki cloak down below my shoulders and turn my back to the old man. The hood of the cloak drops down to my waist and all of my back is exposed to him.

"Do you see that tattoo on my back."

"Yes, is that meant to represent your clan?"

"This is the mark of my clan. It's been seared onto the back of every Uchiha head since it's founder, Indra Uchiha. This mark carries a special power called chakra that is inherited by every new head."

"So that's why you're so fast?"

"Yes, you can think of chakra as another form of chi, just far stronger and more useful. The reason I want to see Madame Gao is because of the similarities between chi and chakra."

"You believe that Madame Gao and the rest of the Hand is linked to your clan?"

"Possibly, I can't say that there are too many connections but enough to be suspicious."

"So that's your backstory, your a child from a clan of shinobi that seems to be linked to the Hand so now you want to find Madame Gao for answers."

I let out a short bout of laughter, "No no, I'm definitely not going to just ask her. I want more than answers to my heritage, I want ownership of the Hand itself."

The half blind ninja only stared at me with the blank expression he kept throughout the entire walk.

"That's the warehouse right?"

I point towards a large warehouse off to the side. It's surrounded on the sides by trucks with carps tossed over the back of them.

All of the trucks had no brand or any sign that they came from Rand Enterprises but I knew that all of them were supplied by the corporation.

Madame Gao had already convinced a man dying of cancer to help support the Hand's dealings in drugs.

I raised my hand up to the man face who's name I hadn't bothered to learn and smacked him hard enough on the back to send him flying a couple meters onto the pavement.

"Go tell Madame Gao or whoever your superior is that I want to talk. I only have enough patience to wait for five minutes. If someone doesn't come out in that time I'll storm in and kill everyone."

The man looked back, this time with a much more hateful expression, as he scampered back up to his and walked up to the front gate.

After saying a few words to the two men standing guard they opened the gate and let him in.
