Prison Break!

" Are you all ready?"

Lilandra asked as the men and Rachel prepared themselves.

Atom looked up at the woman and nodded before returning to his suit.

" A change of attire Nathan? What brought this on?"

Rachel asked the man as she looked at his metallic like suit.

" The Hodinn. He will be a problem. If he shows up while we're down there things are going to get bad. I'll try to absorb the energy, but I've never tried absorbing so much at once."

Nathan explained to the group as he finished applying his new suit.

Thanks to his powers Nathan is able to change the formation of his body. His new look covered his body from head to toe in metal. Swirls of re circling his body.

" Now are we ready?"

Nathan asked the group.

The people all nodded.

Rachel walked forward and kissed Atom before departing from the ship and using her powers of the phoenix to engage the Shi'ar ships guarding Kr'kn.

Rachel was greeted by the shi'ar with a barrage of missiles.

" That's a lot of missiles."

Rachel stated boredly as she watched the missiles close in.

" Target the first wave. Use them against..."

Lilandra was saying.

" I know what to do."

Rachel stated cutting the woman off.

" Kick ass honey."

Atom said to the woman as he and Hal flew past the woman and towards the planet with Lilandra and Korvus right behind them.

" I'll be there as soon as I'm done here."

Rachel replied to the man.

" No, Vulcan and his guard will be here in minutes. Follow the plan Rachel. We need the phoenix's power right here now."

Atom said to the woman.

" Fine, I love you Nathan. Good luck."

Rachel said to the man before turning her attention back to the Shi'ar forces.

" I love you too pretty bird."

Atom said to the woman before cutting radio transmission.

" All right, let's get our guys and get out as soon as possible. And let's hope we don't run into the Hodinn while we're under water."

Atom explained to the others who nodded in agreement.

The four Starjammers quickly breached the planet's atmosphere and once they were close to the water, Jordan put up a shield around the group so that they could survive under the water without having to hold their breath. Once the crew was down on the prison, Atom pried open the doors to the prison allowing everyone inside. Once they were in Atom then turned around and closed the doors once again.

" Step back."

Hal said to the man as he used his ring to weld the doors shut completely, keeping any water that would have gotten in on the other side of the door.

" Smart, now let's go."

Atom said to the man as he turned and started running further into the prison.

Korvus and Lilandra, followed behind Hal and Atom as they forced their way through the Shi'ar guards and the recently released prisoners. Beating and maiming anyone who dared step into their way. The crew continued through the prison running towards the sound of fire.

" Do you think they will be alright?"

Lilandra asked.

" Don't know. But we'll find out when..."

Atom was answering the woman when he suddenly ran into Ch'od's hard body.

Atom looked up at the man and smiled.

" Ch'od! Raza!"

Atom yelled in excitement over seeing his friends again.

" Looks, like we made it in time after all."

Lilandra let out a sigh of relief as the group ran into the imprisoned starjammers they had come for.

" Natha! Korvus! Lilandra! You're all alive! Where's Rachel?"

Lorna asked.

" She's up in space guarding our exit in orbit. You all seem well enough to move. now, come on we need to get out."

Atom said to the woman.

" That is what I suggested, yes? Leaving is good. Havok disagrees."

Ch'od explained to the man.

Atom then turned to Alex and looked at him like he was crazy.

" This is our best shot at Vulcan. He's been visiting me... Trying to break me. he'll come for me again. And this time we'll be waiting. I'll recharge on the starjammer. But this is where we make our stand."

Alex explained to the group.

" Okay, you don't know the bullshit going on out here, Alex. Trust me. Vulcan may come for you, but it will not be alone. And we cannot afford to fight the imperial guard at the bottom of this ocean. It's too dangerous. And it's not just Vulcan we need to worry about anymore... He has a new attack force."

Atom was explaining to the man and as if on que Xenith and the rest of the prisoners Vulcan freed to kill the starjammers appeared before the group.

Alongside her strangely enough was a symbiote wearing a shi'ar body.

" Kill them all."

Xenith declared as she charged the group.

Atom lunged at the woman catching her in the side of the head with his fist and knocked her to the ground. Atom grabbed the woman by her cape and tossed her against the side of the prison structure.

" She's just like Gladiator. I thought he was the only one left."

Lorna said shock.

" Well, He's not!"

Atom yelled back.

Xenith returned to her feet and fired her heat vision at the man. Atom dodged the blast only to have Xenith's fist smash into his face as he turned back to the woman.

" Hey! Round 2 fly girl!"

Hal said to the Strontian as he blasted her in the back with a beam of light.

" URGH!"

Xenith grunted as she was slammed into the ground.

Atom burst out of the rubble he was buried in and jumped on the woman's back.

His eyes and hands glowing with energy as he pummeled the woman into the ground. He then grabbed her by her cape and threw her over his shoulder and slammed her into the ground multiple times before tossing her away.

Atom turned to see Raza killing the Symbiote's host.

" Die monster!"

Raza yelled as he drove his two blades through the man's chest.

" Thank you..."

The man said to Raza as he passed away.

The symbiote howled and started latching itself onto Raza.

" AHHHHH!!!"

Raza yelled in terror.

" RAZA!!!"

Atom yelled. He raised his hands to blast the creature but a bright flash of light flooded the room and stepping out from the light was Vulcan and the entire imperial guard.

" No more games, Alex. No more time outs. Now... You all die."

Vulcan exclaimed.

" Bring me my brothers head!"

Vulcan demanded the guard to attack.

" Hal! DROP THE HAMMER!"

Atom yelled to the man.

And Hal obliged, dropping a literal giant hammer on top of the guards heads. Gladiator used his strength to catch the hammer and held it up leaving himself wide open to attack.

Atom appeared in front of the man and blasted him in his stomach launching him from underneath the hammer.

" Damn it! Guard execute Lilandra and Atom now!"

Vulcan ordered.

" Do it yourself coward."

Atom said to the man as he uppercuppted him into the ceiling.

" You dare touch me?!"

Yelled at the man as he fired energy from his hands.

Atom smirked and absorbed the energy and punched Vulcan in his face again.

" You seem to have forgotten, or perhaps it never occured to you, Vulcan. I can manipulate energy too."

Atom said to the man as he continued punching him in his face.

" RAAAAAGH!"

Gladiator yelled as he shot back into the fight in anger. He rushed towards Atom to attack him but was blasted into the wall once again by Hal.

" Gladiator, I'm sorry we haven't been properly introduced. I'm Green Lantern Hal Jordan."

Hal said to the man as he pointed his ring down at the man.

The entire guard was caught off guard by the man's declaration.

" A Green Lantern? I thought they were wiped out a long time ago?"

Gladiator asked the man.

" Yeah. But we're on an uprise right now."

Hal smirked at the man.

Gladiator and Hal both flew towards each other and locked hands in an attempt to overpower one another. Gladiator grabbed Hal's wrist in an attempt to crush it but was blasted in the face by the man's ring.

" ARHHHH!!!"

Gladiator yelled in pain as a continuous beam of light blasted him away from Hal.

At this point things seemed to be going in the favor of the Starjammers side. however, the flow of things would once again be rocked as Rachel Crashed landed into the prison tearing a hole into the roof and allowing the ocean above to start pouring in.

" Rachel! What happened?"

Atom asked the woman.

Rachel got to her feet and wiped the blood from her mouth.

" We got a problem."

Rachel said to the man.

Atom turned his head to see what Rachel was looking at and to his surprise the Hodinn had returned.

" Hahahah! Burn..."

The hodinn said to the woman.

" Let's try that again Bub."

Rachel said to the Hodinn clearly having spent too much time with Wolverine.

Others began taking notice of the Hodinn and were terrified.

" Gods save us. This is not happening."

Oracle asked the gods for help as the hodinn started taking off his armor.

" It's a star. I can feel it."

Alex smirked upon realizing what the man was.

Atom raised his hands and started absorbing the man's very being.

Alex seeing this as a chance to recharge his powers joined in helping the man.

" Whoa! This is insane."

Alex exclaimed as he and Atom both flowed with power.

" Kill it!"

The imperial guard yelled as they attacked the now powerless Hodinn.

" What the hell is happening? No."

Vulcan said in disbelief as he looked at Alex and Atoms powered up forms.

" Absorbing the power of a sun. I never thought it would feel so good. Oh, Vulcan. You are so fucked."

Atom said to the man as he turned and along with Alex blasted the man

" AAAAAHHHHH!"

Vulcan yelled in pain as the two beams hit him right in his chest

" Get up, Gabriel. We're not done."

Alex said to his brother.

Vulcan got up and tried to attack the man but was knocked back down once again.

" You deserve this Gabriel."

Alex said to the man as he blasted him again.

" No! They deserved it! Corsair, D'Ken... If you knew what it was like."

Vulcan argued in pain.

" We would have helped you! We would have welcomed you back!!"

Alex exclaimed as he punched his brother in the face over and over again.

" But you killed our father!!"

Alex exclaimed in anger.

As he fought with his brother the prison began shaking violently.

" Can't hold it... Whole ocean... A little help!"

Lorna yelled as she struggled to keep the ocean from collapsing on top of them.

" Here you go gorgeous."

Hal flirted with the woman as he created a construct to help.

" Thank you... But I'm taken."

Lorna replied instantly shooting the man down.

" Ha! Sucks to be you, Hal."

Atom said to the man as he Blasted Oracle in her face.

" Alright! Enough fighting! We need to get out of here!"

Atom yelled to the others.

" Go my love. I will cover you."

Atom turned to Rachel and told the woman to leave.

" Hn!!!! Oh god! Oh God no!"

Rachel yelled out in a panic.

" Rachel, what's wrong?"

Atom asked the woman.

" AHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Rachel yelled in pain as the energy from the phoenix left her body.

Atom raced to catch the woman as her body fell to the ground.

" Rachel! What happened?"

Lorna asked as she flew over to the two.

" The phoenix force... I felt it leave Rachels body."

Atom replied.

" Shit, Hal!"

Atom turned and called out to the man only to see him being attacked by Gladiator and Xenith.

" A little busy!"

Hal yelled back.

" Shit! Havok we have to go now!"

Atom yelled to the man.

" No, Vulcan dies!"

Alex yeleld back.

" Alex! Rachel's down and an ocean is about to get dropped on us. Me and Hal would be fine. but the rest of you will die!"

Atom yelled to the man.

" Alex, we're going to die!"

Lorna yelled out to the man as she once again struggled to keep the ocean up.

" Fuck, he isn't listening! Lilandra get us out of here!"

Atom yelled to the woman.

" Starjammer Initiate teleport!!"

Lilandra yelled.

And as she did all members of the Starjammers with the exception of raza began glowing.

" No! Lilandra, No! I can still..."

Alex was arguing as he held Vulcan by his throat. However, he and the rest of the Starjammers were teleported back to the ship just as the ocean dropped its weight into the prison, flooding it completely.

" No!! Send me back!"

Alex yelled.

Atom and Hal turned around and punched the man in his face, dropping him.

" I am sorry. I am so sorry. But we must live. For the sake of the empire, we must run."

Lilandra explained to the man in a panic as the Shi'ar forces began firing on the ship.

" Forget him right now. Jump the Ship!!!"

Atom exclaimed.

Lilandra nodded and seconds later the ship jumped into hyperspace. The ship kept jumping as it tried to outrun the Shi'ar forces.

" We have thirteen minutes until they can track our jump. Six cycles now, they have chased us. Suggest we come up with a plan yes?"

Ch'od asked.

" Before any more of us are lost."

Ch'od exclaimed in anger over the loss of his friend.

" I am saddened by losing him to Ch'od. But we will get raza back."

Lorna said to the man.

" Of course. Because we were so easily rescued the first time. No, wait we were tortured for months. And now the phoenix is gone."

Ch'od spat back.

" Ch'od! I am sorry my friend but right now is not the time for trading jabs with one another."

Atom said to the man.

Ch'od sighed and looked down in shame.

" Rachel? How are you feeling love?"

Atom asked the woman as he turned his attention back to her injuries.

" Empty. It's gone Nathan. I can't feel it. I can't hear it. It's like it was never there. I have my telepathy and my telekinesis. But the power behind it... It's gone."

Rachel explained to the man in shame.

" It's okay, love. What happened wasn't your fault. We couldn't have planned for that to happen. Right now just focus on getting better. We'll get through this Rachel just like we've gotten through everything else so far. Together."

Atom said to Rachel as he gently rubbed his hand across her face.

Rachel lifted her head and smiled before kissing the man.

" You should have left me there Lilandra. I could have killed him, and this would be over."

Alex said to Lilandra angrily.

His words drew the attention of everyone on the ship. Everyone turned and looked at the man in annoyance.

" Is revenge worth your life? You see what is has done to Vulcan."

Lilandra asked the man as she flew the ship.

" You'd have your empire back!"

Alex shot back at the woman.

" I will have my empire back. But I'll do it another way. And I need you alive. War is coming and we can no longer fight it alone. We need allies and I believe I found them. There is a wedding we must attend."

Lilandra explained to the group.

They all looked at the woman in confusion as to who she would be talking about, unknown to them the allies she sought were gathering across the stars.

In another part of the galaxy deep within the Kree empire.

" Report."

The man ordered his soldiers.

" It appeared to be a scouting party, sir. Shi'ar warbirds. They were destroyed upon approach."

The soldier replied.

" Leave me, Captain."

The man known as Ronan the accuser said to his soldier.

Ronan continued his walk eventually coming to a stop in front of the Kree throne and bowed.

" My king I have new."

Ronan said as he bowed before the inhuman royal family, His wife to be Crystal, Medusa, And the new king of the Kree and the king of the Inhumans Blackagar Boltagon Aka Black Bolt!!!

Atom and Vulcan are both heading for a one-way crash course with the Inhuman king.
