The witch. Part 2

Nolamine got chills as he got in. It was not just because the place looked scary, but because it was cold even though there were hundreds of candles lit throughout the place. It all seemed ominous and he found his eyes could see some intricate writings on the walls and floor.

The old lady was sitting on a mat made from silk, it too having intricate writing woven into it and looking like it was made for kings and queens. She was still wearing the same clothes from when he first saw her and she turned to look at him when he made it to the sitting room.

It was a small apartment with the exit door coming into a small kitchen that led to a room used for sleeping and as a sitting room with a door leading to the bathroom next to it. He looked around and there was nothing there but her, the mat, the candles, and something that looked to be a turtle's shell with something in it next to her.

She opened her mouth to say something, an act that scared the living daylight out of him, for he had seen her eyes again.

"So you have finally come. Take a seat."

Her words did not bode well with him as they implied she knew he would come to her. He sat down on the mat in front of her and their eyes met. He felt like his soul was being looked into but his eyes were fighting back.

The lady smiled and he grabbed his heart as it had jumped out of his chest in fright and put it back. Well, he would have if it did jump out, right now it was racing. Her smile did not look like that of any being with goodness in their heart, it resembled that of a sneak's.

Lightning struck, lighting the room in purple and making her face look as scary as the word itself. Nolamine was regretting coming there, but he steeled himself.

"So, someone has cursed you again."

She said after the horror show of what she thought was an innocent smile. The words took him out of his horrified state.

'Again?'

He thought. The old lady then inhaled deeply. The room was full of smoke because of the kind of candles she had lit, but it wasn't that much to affect your breathing. Nolamine was shocked by what happened.

All the smoke in the room went into her nostrils as she inhaled.

"Ahhh..."

She said after inhaling all the smoke in one fell swoop. It was like she took pleasure doing so.

"It seems you have been cursed by the same person for five whole years now."

She said after gathering herself.

'Huh? Wait, what?'

Nolamine was confused. That would mean the person started when he was nine years old to curse him.

"And it is the same person who cursed you last night."

Nolamine was confused. He rattled his brain trying to make sense of what he just heard. He also did not expect the old lady to jump right into it without asking questions or asking for something.

"I shall not give you a name, for you already know this person and is someone very close to you."

At that point, all he did was just listen to her. He did not want to think or his head would burst open from all the thoughts running through his mind.

"It seems this individual has the innate skill to weave curses but be at ease, he was doing it without knowing."

Nolamine did not want to believe what he was hearing.

"He has cast upon you two curses. A curse to make you look uglier than he is when girls look at you. This is the curse he has been casting for years. It's a curse only he could conjure, for it takes constant cursing for it to manifest and he has been cursing you for years. It could grow into a powerful curse, one that could take immeasurable resources to exorcise."

Nolamine laughed inwardly as he cursed at the same time. If he was alone, he would be laughing as loud as he could as to all the things that happened that day, what he was hearing was just plain ridiculous.

"The second, he cast upon you last night... Wahahaha.."

She started laughing and made Nolamine put his guard up again as he saw her dark mouth that seemed to lead to the abyss.

"This one is promising. I might just keep him for myself and make him my disciple."

She said, amused. She then looked at Nolamine again.

"He cursed your bloodline so that all your male decedents have small penises. The evilness in this curse is quite something...hahaha."

She laughed again.

'Son-join! you bastard. When I see you I swear!'

Nolamine screamed in his head. It was so unexpected that even as he said those words he did not know what to think. That day, he was finding out so many things and being introduced to a world only a few knew about but only to find out his best friend had been cursing him unknowingly.

"With what little power you possess, these curses can't affect you, but you need to remove them, or in the long run they will start weighing heavy on your shoulders."

Nolamine nodded. He opened his mouth trying to ask something but could not as the old lady said something before he did.

"I cannot help you. I can only unravel and see through what's been imposed onto you."

He tried opening his mouth to ask another question but the old lady spoke before he did again.

"I am what they call a dark witch. What you need is a white witch or shaman to expel them for you. What I do is the opposite. Do you get it? Only people who want to curse, find fortune, fame, kill someone, or all of the bad evil things you can think of come to me."

She said with her devilishly smiling again. Nolamine's heart started racing again, now visibly scared. He thought he had been lured to a trap or something and reviling who she really was and telling him that she was evil was her way of saying he was in her hands.

"Do not worry. I only tell you this because it is the truth, well, since with those eyes of yours, lying to you would be useless. Am I right?"

Her words shook him.

"Calm down, I am only doing this to fulfill a promise I made. Hahahaha"

Nolamine at that point wanted nothing to do with the old lady. Someone who could see through him scared him to his core, for that was what he would do with his eyes. He did not care for what she was saying at that point. He stood up and was about to live with his tail between his legs until he heard her speak again.

" Too bad, that promise I made was to your father, and not that it is a big deal to me, but you have a far worse curse running through your veins. I felt it the day we met."

The words stopped him in his tracks.
