Exiting the training space, Vidal face wasn't good. But at the moment, he cannot do anything with his current situation.
Knock!
He spent his whole night training, now Jonathan is here to pick him up.
A private Jet from Golden Academy, consisting of nine people: six participants, Jonathan, Brenda and Vidal.
Province 2,
A fast flight journey of one hour and they were directly dropped near the Perse Stadium.
A vehicle to be precise a Van with the name of Pioneer Academy was standing for them.
Most of the formalities were completed by Jonathan, and everyone took ride to Perse Stadium.
Spread across 51 acres and a currently seating capacity of over 100,000, it is the largest stadium in the region. The main pitch which measures 22,500 sq. meters houses four stages for fighting.
(This pitch can hold three football ground if compared.)
And the most important factor is the roof enclosing the stadium. The material used to create it is the most mysterious thing and one of the wonder of the technical advancement.
The radius of about 50 miles around the stadium is packed with markets, carnivals, theatres, and other entertainment building. But there are no residential buildings.
The competition was going to be held on for two days starting from the next day, and the Perse Stadium is responsible for handling the staying expenses of the incoming teams.
On the northern side of the Stadium, an enormous building with a huge Perse logo was standing tall.
This building was the head office of Perse Stadium, and on floor no. 5 whole Pioneer academy accommodation was settled.
Grace and Brenda led the whole team to the floor 5 and got settled.
Jonathan and Vidal stayed behind and walked towards the Stadium.
"Every time I come here, it always surprises me," Jonathan looking at the roof of the stadium said.
"What's with that indifferent face?" Jonathan looked at the expressionless face of Vidal.
"There is no need to be surprised, it's just a stadium where people fight," Vidal replied calmly, "And this time the competition seems completely different from before."
"Different?"
"Well, look around this place. Don't you see any difference? You have taken part in previous competition right." Vidal said.
Jonathan looked around, the vehicles were running as usual, people were going in and out of building and different advertisements were moving on the large screen fixed on the buildings.
Looking at the confused face of Jonathan said, "The competition is tomorrow, and this place can house over 100,000 people. And the traffic around this place is too low compared to before."
Vidal was right but "What do you mean by compared to before?" Jonathan felt he was missing something.
"Means, the streets and markets used to be filled with people when the date of the competition was declared. I can only remember this."
"How do you know all this?"
"Well this is my birth place after all? So…" Vidal said scratching his head.
"You were born here…."
"Yes, there." Vidal pointed at the stadium.
The more question Jonathan asked, the more he became shocked with his answer.
"So, if they find me here. I will be doomed. That's why I asked to hide my identity."
Jonathan mind was blown when he heard the complete story of Vidal. 'Should I inform Roger or not?' Jonathan thought for a moment and finally shook his head.
Vidal showed Jonathan all around the place like he was taking a stroll in his home.
...
Perse Building, Floor no. 16 (Top floor)
A room full of people was in a meeting. The mood of the meeting was depressed.
"Is the preparation for the competition complete," a person who seems to be the head of the meeting and got a small scar right above his right eye asked.
Three yes were heard from the people in front of him.
"We should move now, Aziza will handle the rest of things," the women sitting on the side of the man said looking at the girl sitting on the front of the meeting.
Aziza wanted to say something but at last nodded with grave expression.
The man gave some more instruction and vanished from the room with the women.
Now, Aziza was leading the meeting, "There should be no accidents on the tomorrow competition, and we will try to finish it within one day, if possible."
The 12 people in front from of her were the most trusted and loyal subordinates of her father, the man with the scar and the women sitting next was her mother.
The meeting was finished and Aziza was left behind in the room. Coming at the window, she glanced towards the roof of the stadium with deep hatred in her eyes.
Aziza took a long sigh and left the room.
…
Jonathan and Vidal returned to their floor late night and retired on separate rooms.
Vidal didn't enter the training space, and went to sleep.
Next morning,
When going towards the Stadium, Jonathan genuinely felt something was wrong with the competition.
There were no crowds to welcome them; there was only silence from the stadium.
Grace and other students asked some question on the situation and Jonathan made up some news to ease them.
Inside the silent Perse Stadium, students from other academies were already sitting in their designated place and the teachers were discussing together.
The teachers from other academies were also confused looking at the current situation of the stadium.
"Hello everyone, everyone please move towards your seats. The competition will begin soon," A man with a suit entered, "And you want to know what the situation is; due to some unforeseen reason the board responsible for competition has announced to make the competition fast and concealed."
The man in suit was the host and judge of the competition and they felt they shouldn't ask more question at the time.
Immediately, the teachers moved towards the area designated to their academy.
"Sir, did you already know about the situation?" Grace asked to Jonathan.
Jonathan nodded, "Yes, so there are going to be some changes in the team."
"Changes."
The team led by Grace started talking with each other.
"What are the changes you are talking about?"
"This.. You aren't going to fighting in the competition." Jonathan replied. This was the decision they made while roaming around yesterday. Before, the plan was to let Vidal fight at the last but the situation has changed now.
Grace glanced towards Vidal and Vidal at this time happen to looking towards the VIP section of the audience.
The VIP section was a balcony completely covered in white glass and a girl was sitting there.
Jonathan also noticed were Vidal was looking.
"Is he going to replace me?" Grace asked.
"Yes and no. He is going to be replacing your whole team." Jonathan said.
Grace and her team weren't happy with the decision. But Brenda pulled Grace and said something which calmed her down.
…
Vidal was looking at the girl on the balcony section.
Then he started walking towards the location, passing through the audience seats and he entered the back stage.
The members handling the competition followed him, and the board members who were looking at the situation in CCTV room, also send some message to look at him.
Through the corridor of the backstage taking the stairways, the door to the entrance to the Balcony room came to view.
The members following him slowed down, as the security of the balcony room is quite different from other places in the stadium.
Not a single guard or personal were allowed near the room or nobody has the strength to go near the room.
Only after the consent of the person sitting inside, the door can be opened, or the person has to be already registered to open the door from outside.
This room is infamous for the brutal security measures it is connected with. Any unauthorized or forceful entry will harm the invader to the point of deathly situation.
And Vidal was walking towards the room like it was nothing.
In front of the door, a masked person was standing and the door opened naturally.
The board members in CCTV room looked at each other face and immediately ran towards the balcony room, the members who were following started panicking.
The person sitting inside the room was the most important person of the Province 2 and an unknown person entered the room.
But before they can think of anything, "Don't panic. Guard outside." A message was received.
Inside the balcony room,
Aziza was still thinking about the situation described by her father and the door to the room opened.
A person in masked entered, "Yo," the person waved his hand.
There was no panic in her voice but anger, "You got the audacity to return now."
Next moment, a fist connected to his right cheek, he was plastered on the glass of the balcony.
The students and teachers looking from the pitch below have their mouth wide open.
