Not long after Adam left, Lumma woke up.
She had a lot of messy dreams last night, dreaming of a lot of people. But the strange thing was that Adam was in each of her dreams.
Lumma hurriedly got up and went to the bathroom to sober up by washing her face with cold water.
She told herself that she could dream of anyone in the future, but she must never dream of Adam again.
After washing up, Lumma went downstairs. She thought she was the first to wake up, but Adam was already having breakfast in the dining room on the first floor.
She greeted him immediately. "Mr. Hills, good morning!"
"Morning." Adam nodded, pointing to a new plate of food on the table. "That's yours."
"Thank you, Mr. Hills!" Lumma wasn't timid and started to eat after sitting at the table.
