Chapter 67 Kill Me 8

I brought out the pills I took from the bathroom, the same locker Alex took a liquid from the first day I got here. I really didn't know what it was for but I made sure I took lots of it. In the next five minutes, I had stomach ache, I rolled on the bed crying and crying till I passed out.

Since yesterday Benjamin had noticed how absentminded his boss has been. "Are you alright boss!" He asked the man lost in his thought. Alex thought randomly, of any possible way, to make Hazel stop her foolish acts. She keeps telling him she'd kill herself, and with what she did the previous day, he was scared she'd do worse today.

"If you kill yourself Hazel, I'll kill you!" He murmured softly, making Ben confused. "Are you okay boss? Do you need anything?" The man asked again, and Alex came back to reality. "How long have you been here Ben?" He asked the man before him. "Uhm. I just got here. I brought in the documents you asked of!" Ben said. "Drop it and leave, I want to be left alone!" He said and the man dropped the pile documents on the table and stroded towards the door.

"Ben!" Alex called when Benjamin's hands twisted the door nob. "Yes sir!" Ben met his gaze still holding the door nob. "How do you make a woman stop being foolish?" He asked frustratedly. Benjamin was astonished by his boss's question, it was so sudden and he was dumbstruck.

He left the door nob and turned back fully to answer his boss's sudden question. "So all this act was cause of a woman, i should have known!" Ben thought.  He wondered the woman that had turned his boss into a lost puppy.

"Sir, I really don't know. I've never really met any foolish woman before!" Ben said to earn a strong glare from Alex. "Leave, you're useless right now!" He said sternly, pressing his forehead with the tip of his fingers. Just one woman has turned his word upside-down. He couldn't figure out what to do with Hazel, she is so stubborn.

He should have known from the first day he saw her that she was trouble. A woman that dared to threaten him the first day they met without finding out who he was. She was never intimidated by his presence. He let out a frustrated smile thinking about this.

He picked his phone and dailed a number, "Gaius!" Alex called. "Yes Master!" Gaius answered from the other end immediately. "How's my wife?" Alex asked. "She's alot better this morning master. The doctor arrived few hours ago to dress her wound. She seems alot happier today, she even asked us to prepare a special meal for you. As a thank you gift for saving her!" Gaius said.

"Hmm..., It's good she finally decided to let things go. I didn't think it'll be so soon. Don't forget to keep an eye on her!" Alex ordered before hanging up. He turned his special liquid on the table into a glass and relaxed in his swivel chair. He took a sip of the liquid, conceiving what he just heard. He knew Hazel does not give up, so easily.

Forgetting the person she loves the most in just two days is so not like her. Unless, she has other plans and she's using fake happiness to cover up her plans. He sat up, as anxiety enloped him. Something was wrong, he could feel it, he drank all of his liquid in one go. "What could she be planning? What has she done already?

She couldn't jump through the window could she? "Food, thank you gift, happiness!" He murmured. Closing his eyes, he placed his head backwards sipping the air, then he exhaled slowly as he relaxed into his sit.

"Hazel.....!" He called stretching her name, the uneasiness in him was increasing by seconds. His eyes slid open and he got up, picked his keys and left the office hurriedly. He had this feeling that something was not right.
