Chapter 51 Farm 5

  I walked back into the lounge, settled in the sofa, stretching my arms and legs muscles. I was exhausted after our long trip. I was happy to have a private chef, at least this would save me from Grandma's sharp tongue.

There was a rap on the door, I quickly walked to the door to know who it was, "Carie!" I exclaimed excitedly. "Can I come in Mrs Wilson?" She said playfully. "Of course, Mrs Lukas Carie!" I said to have us laugh out loud. Now I thought of it, I didn't know Lukas's last name.

We both got in still laughing while she sat on the couch comfortably. "I can't believe I don't know Lukas's last name!" I sat down too. "It's viotto, 'Lukas Viotto'!" Carie blushed saying this. Indeed she was really into this man, I thought. "If you really love him, what led to your last breakup?" I asked this time. I told you I don't like half gist, it only makes me desperate.

"We were in a serious relationship, but I had to study abroad. Then I found out he cheated on me with Maya!" She said irritated. "Who's Maya?"

"Berverly's younger sister, who is also Belle's best friend!" She said.

I could recall that night during the Gala, Belle was walking with someone . They both mocked and laughed at me, but I was too unbothered to know who the girl was.

"I wish I know who she is!" I said. I really didn't like when someone mess with people I care about the most. "Of course, you're new here. That's why I'm so happy Alex got married to you!" She said.

"Speaking of Alex I found something in his study room!"

"The Berverly stuff's? They're childhood lovers, or the popular word childhood sweethearts. They always break up and get back within a week. I must say their relationship was pretty toxic cause she wanted to be Alex's wife so badly!" Carie said

"Which make me wonder why Alex never wanted to get married to the love of his life? When they got separated again we all thought it was their usual quarrel, till we heared berverly was getting married to Carlos Harvey' another silly cousin of ours!" She added.

"Their love life is complicated and exhausting!" I rolled my eyes. "You don't know how tired we were going over one thing over and over again!" Carie darted her gaze around. "So how'd you like your apartment!" She changed our previous conversation quickly.

"It's beautiful!" I gave an honest answer. "It's my babies construction company. They deal with building and designing any house you want!" She said and I gulped. Lukas does not look like someone who could do such, but wow he's good. "Wow!" I exclaimed at her words.

Collin walked into the lounge with two glasses in his hands, " I knew you had a visitor so I decided to get you a drink madam!"  "That's so thoughtful of you!" Carie picked her juice and took a sip. I picked mine too and took a sip too. 

"God.. this is so good!" I said, "I'm glad you like it madam!" He bowed and left. This tasted different from the ordinary orange juice I used to drink. "I need to tell Alex to change the chef at home and replace him with Collin!" I said making Carie laugh.

We were still laughing and talking about random stuff when we heard screams from outside. We dropped our tasty juice and rushed outside only to be astonished by who we saw. She was greeting everyone, and I saw the way grandma hugged her tightly. "What is she doing here, isn't her wedding in a week?" Carie said.
