Chapter 282 LIES 2

        "We're going for an arranged family date with the Viotto's today, so just Incase you get back and don't see anyone at home we're obviously in your family mansion." I helped Alex fix his tie, he looked lost, probably lost in his thoughts on how to kill Philip. Alex is so predictable when it comes to things like this.

        "I'll keep that in mind." He smiled. "Do you have somewhere important to be?" "Hmm, always my business, don't forget I still have a lot to tell you when you get back, make sure you don't exhaust yourself. I love you." He kissed my forehead before leaving the room. We really needed this talk, I had a lot of questions from his unfinished words the previous night.

       I only hope my suspicions are wrong, there's no way everything Alex has told me about his family all this while is a lie. How can he possibly lie? I stepped out of the room once I was done dressing up.

      Elena placed the kids in the trio baby stroller, "You're all set to leave?" Mother sauntered toward us. "Mama," Leah called stretching her little hands, her actions only made mother tear and smile at once. "My baby." She called squatting before them, "She reminds me so much of you, she looks exactly like you." 

        "Don't let Alex hear that, he says the kids took his features which is true." "They have your both features, my love." We hugged each other, "Mama." Leah called again. "Leah baby, go have fun with mummy, I'll see you when you get back." "You're still here?" "I'll be here for some time, don't worry, if I'm bored I'll help the cooks with the cooking."

       "Mum I never asked you to stress yourself out." "Elena get the kids to the car." I just hope mum and Dad settle whatever the issue may be, it turns out she's just like me when it comes to handling a relationship, we give up easily and shy away from the trouble. I stepped into the car with the kids sitted protectively in the back seat and Elena sitted next to me while I drove us to the Viotto's residence.

           As usual, their arguments started again which led to Alex and Kyle fighting and me stopping the car at a corner on the road. "If you fight one more time, I'll turn this Godforsaking car around and punish you for a month!" Yes, I screamed as every other mother would to her kids. "Haha God forsaking car, hahaha." Leah mocked. That's been the new phase for her lately, joining her father to mock my words.

         "Leah, I'll spank you." I tried controlling my tongue so they don't get to learn those curse words early. It surprises me when people call Leah adorable, yes outwardly but Inwardly she's as dark as her father. Just 3 but acts like an adult. There was total silence in the car, except of course the little giggling sound from Leah as a result of her brothers kissing her palms.

         Being the only female is turning my baby into a spoilt brat, the worst is that Alex supports her in all she does. He does whatever she asks.

         Lukas is a professional engineer, it's no wonder his mansion Is the best one I've been to in the entire New York. We all stepped out of the car and surprisingly my baby discovered she's hurt her little feet. She insisted I carry her in kissing my cheek from time to time.

       "You're here, Carie Hazel's here." Luka's aunt welcomed us in, "Auntie." I hugged her. "Oh, you're here, good thing I and Lila are set already." Carie stepped out with Lila by her side "Leah." Lila called sweetly stretching those little hands for a hug, and the little princess who has refused to let me go claiming she hurt her legs finally jumped off my body to hug her bestie.

          Both girls hugged and kissed each other severally making us feel like our friendship is not strong enough. "Kyle and Alex," Carie called. "Auntie." Both boys looked like they'd be on their best behavior today after my little threats.

        "Mrs. Wilson." Lukas also got out in a nice suit, it looks like he had somewhere important to be too just like Alex. "Already leaving?" "Yes, have fun." "We will." He kissed his wife before leaving.

         We all stepped out of the mansion after a while of contemplating on where to go, finally, our car stopped at the entrance of a salon for our manicures and pedicures. It's always normal for married women to have their date in a salon after all the stress of taking care of your kids, you'd barely have time for yourself. The girls had their nails fixed, same goes for the boys, I had to shave their hair into new styles and treat their skin.

         "Did you see what that cousin of yours did to her face?" Carie started while getting her fingernails done, "I saw, but ignored." "At this point, she's giving obsession." I knew and understood what Carie had said and it still amazes me why Vieve would do that. Claiming my identity.

         We were done with our manicure sections and I can already see how beautiful the girls' nails turned out to be, given, that they were asked to pick the one they wanted. Leah had already started licking hers, it's a good thing I asked for licking nails, stretching her little hands and I picked her up. Elena helped me with the boys, and we all got into the car and headed for the general Wilson's family mansion.

           The kids would have been taken to a fun place, but we agreed not, to thinking back Maya's words and warnings. I would pay any ransom to make all of these go away, all I've wished for is a better and normal life for my kids. "Welcome, Welcome." 

          It wasn't pleasing to the eyes to still see Kendrick in this mansion, it seems my hate for him doubled after everything Alex said. And even if he has made his reason clear to me, I still had to stay very far away from this man. Someone who despises my husband is never a friend of mine.

          I advanced further into the mansion after our greetings to Kendrick who seemed to be all alone in here. "Welcome madams." "Hmm, Leonard get the kids ice cream." "Yes, Madam." "Isn't it strange Carie that our very own Hazel has been running away from me? Let me guess your husband told you to do so?" "Perhaps if I'm not mistaken, he hasn't told you the reason why."

          "He has." "Then it must be another lie like the rest." He chuckled. "What are you talking about?" "Ask your husband, he has a lot to reveal." "I'll let you ladies be, have fun." Kendrick walked away.

         "Don't let uncle Kendrick's words ruin your day, he's fond of that." I gave Carie a reassuring smile, forcing myself not to give a thought about what Kendrick had said. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn't resist, I wanted to know more. What is Alex hiding from me??
