Chapter 23 Family Dinner 4
We got back home, Elena and some other maids helped us park our bags in. We walked into the mansion, Carie went ahead to kiss and hug Lukas like a precious gift she doesn't want to loose. And from the looks of things, Lukas actually loved what she does to him.
Which made me wonder why they ever broke up when they can't stay away from each other. Still thinking about them, I felt a hand on my waist and before I knew what was happening, Alex yanked me to himself. As my back crashed against his hard chest. "Welcome back!" He whispered in my ears, his hot breath making me shudder.
Alex is the last person I wanted to see right now, Why is he back so early? Has he found out about the money? He noticed how stiff I was and he turned me around. I gulped softly as I met those black eyes. "Are you alright baby!" He asked "y...yes sure, w..why not?" I said.
"Come here I need to make an introduction!" Alex said as he turned me around. Damn! The man was so handsome with a perfect shaved beard. What I'm I going to do, if I keep seeing this handsome figures all the time. Right now I regretted getting married to Alex, not like I had a choice. "Hello Hazel!" He said with a mesmerizing smile. I know how to appreciate beauty when I see one. "Hello!" I said with a sweet smile.
"You have to be kidding me, you called me an asshole and now you're just gonna be lovely and friendly around him?" Lukas said. I ignored his words, like he never existed. "I'm Benson Peres!" He gestured for a hand shake, "Hazel Anderson!" I said as shook his hands.
"Anderson?" Ben asked as he kissed my hands. "Yes Anderson, just to be clear, I'd be single soon!" I said with a smile.
"Huhhh!" Alex cleared his throat and dragged me upstairs holding my wrist hard. "Alex let me go what are you doing?" I tried pulling my hands from his strong grip but couldn't. He opened the door to our bedroom and threw me inside robustly. "What was that for!" He said stoically closing the door behind him.
"What are you talking about?" I was really astonished by his reaction. "You think embarrassing me before my friends is normal!" He yelled, Damn! I was totally intimidated right now. "I still don't understand what you're talking about!" I said gingerly, but in a barely audible tone. He laughed, but I wasn't dumb to know that it was a menacing laugh.
"You're married to me Hazel, me and no one else!" He said but calmly this time. I tried to hide my anxieties, cause I really didn't know what next he would do to me. "What do I need to do to make you understand you're mine Hazel?" I gulped at his words.
"Tell me!" He said in a commanding manner as he moved closer to me, like a tiger about to devour me in the next second "Alex please stop, you're not in your right state of mind. I was joking when I said those words, It was nothing serious, besides Benson already knows I'm your wife!" I tried combining all the words that came through my head but this monster was not listening to me, as he got closer and closer to me.
His face was totally dark, and the cold aura emanating from him sent shivers to my body. I've seen Alex angry before but I haven't seen him this angry before. I closed my eyes tight preparing myself mentally for what's about to happen.
