   🎄 COMPLIMENTS OF THE SEASON🎄

Grandma stood in the lounge, along side Mother with their long faces. One thing I couldn't understand was why Avery and Lucy were sitted in the lounge with their heads faced down. "Mother that's the truth and there's nothing anyone can do about it, not even father!" Avery said this time.

*Slap*

Grandma slapped her staring at her with range in her eyes. I've never seen Grandma this upset before, which had me wondering what Avery her favorite grandchild has done this time.

"You stupid child, we did everything for you and this is how you'd repay us? What were you thinking, that I'd accept this?" Asked grandma.

"You're a disgrace to this family. If Mr Balowe can call this morning to tell how frightened his daughters were when they found out you were gay. That man practically mocked us" mother said gloomily.

"Get a divorce, I don't care if you're married but you'd be dead if I see you around my child!" Mother warned Lucy this time.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you both doing this? You said there was nothing wrong in one being a gay!" "That's when it is someone else's child you idiot. I hate gays, I don't like them, neither do your granny or any member of our family!" Mother said curtly.

It seems the Wilson's family were against Gay's which was quite understandable since most people hated them. But this was a member of the family, they couldn't possibly disown her. No matter what, she was still a part of the family.

Avery didn't know what to say anymore as she burst into tears. It was evident she really liked Lucy and according to Carie, they've been dating for a really long time. "I'm so sorry Mrs Wilson and granny Wilson for causing much trouble to you!" Lucy started.

"Pardon me madam, your dance instructor is here!" Leonard spoke from behind and I met his gaze. Aurgh.... He had to interrupt me. I nodded to his words before meeting Carie's eyes and she gave me a reasurring smile to go on. I took sage with me and we left the mansion to a large hall.

The one we used for the engagement party and every other parties. "Hello Mrs Wilson, I'm James Clifford!" The man introduced himself with a polite smile and I returned it. "It's nice to see you James!"

"The pleasure is mine!" "So can we begin?" He asked.

We started our dance practice, I must say, it was pretty hard at first, but it was an interesting dance. I and Sage danced and got lost in it, the more we bacame perfect in it the more I enjoyed the dance. I danced and danced to my heart content.

And before I knew it, "Madam Mrs Darla is here!" Leonard announced again, for the dance instructor to leave. On hearing the name Darla, my heart started beating really fast again. The dance had helped me get rid of the anxiousness I felt before, but on hearing Darla's name, it came back.

Was it time already? I thought. Sage placed her hands on my shoulder when she noticed how tensed I looked. "Take a deep breath Zel, you wouldn't want to ruin you wedding with your own hands!" She said earning a small smile from me.

I was more than happy I had Sage and Carie beside me, I feel blessed with them around. We got out of the hall back into the lounge where it felt like the tensed atmosphere was over. "Mrs Wilson!" Darla greeted with a sweet smile the moment I stepped into the lounge.

"Darla!" I made my greetings short and polite. "It's been a week since I last saw you, but now it seems like a year!" She tried to strike in a conversation which I broke off. I was not in the mood to laugh with fake people.

All I needed were true friends, not golddiggers. Jenet and Evan were with her, along with more people. "It's time to get you ready for your wedding Mrs Wilson!" Darla smiled. No matter how hard I tried to push her away, she just seems to get even more clingy.

Beverly sat on a couch in her room, reflecting on Hazel's words. They may seem like mere insults, but that she spoke the truth. The same truth she has been denying all this while, she kept telling herself that Alex was hers and here's alone.

Sadly Hazel was right, she thought Alex really loved her and could not stay a minute without her. But seeing him married to that nobody had really irked her and she felt like she was loosing patient.

Berverly sighed at the thought of this, she would deal with Hazel and get her thrown out of the Wilson's house by Alex himself. She smiled at her already set plans, the only thing she needed was time then she would show that naive fool who is boss.

"Berverly!" Maya barged into her room disturbed, "You would be shocked by the information I just got". "I don't know how long it'll be for you to learn not to barge into someone else's room!" Berverly said furiously.

"I'm sorry, it's just that, the news I got hold of today is a dreadful one!" She started gaining her sisters attention. "Carie's pregnant for Lukas!" Berverly was astonished by this with a raised brow. If these information gets to Lukas, then there's no way the man would get married to her.

She might end up being his baby mama and that was the last thing she wanted. "I think it's time for me to eliminate her!" Maya suggested to earn a glare from her sister. "You're not stupid not to know, no one plays with or touch anything related to Alex. There's no way he would not find out and kill you!" Berverly warned.

"Instead of killing her, why not kill the baby so you can have a place in that house and I know you'd also love to see her suffer and cry from heartbreak!" Berverly chuckled.
