3 | FUN WITH FAMILY

     Hmmm ... Its just heaven. I felt someone softly caressing my head. I snuggled more . I instantly know who is this.

"Kutty ma, wake up da. Come and have your dinner." My Patti ma softly said to me.

Aargh.. how I missed her. I put my head in her lap. She always calls me Kutty ma, even though I am not the youngest kid. But I am the first princess of my lovely family. I have my own advantages too. Hehe....

"let me sleep Paati Ma. God! How I missed sleeping in your lap." She chuckled.

"you know you can sleep in my lap after finishing your dinner. It's already 8.30pm"

I shot my eyes open. It's already 8.30pm. Ohhh I have to patch up with my family.

"Patti Ma I missed you so much." I hugged her.

"Ohhh.. You remembered that this poor soul is here. I am glad."

I pouted," Patti Ma don't taunt me."

" Then what will you expect me to do? My all grandchildren left me alone here and went to achieve their goals. Do you guys even know how lonely I am? Why am I even telling you this , when my sons were already left me ?"

I really felt sad for her. But she's the one who didn't want to leave this village. But I don't want to tell her that. Cause this village and this house have many memories of My Thatha(grand pa). Not only him but our grandparents. After my Dad and Ravi uncle moved Bangalore, eventually Arvind Uncle also moved to Madurai because of Siddhu. Only Ganesh chithappa and Rey chithi are here with Patti ma. Ramya also can't stay here because of her work. Vaishu also goes IIT for further studies.

" Patti ma, you are the one who taught us to pursue our dreams."

" Yeah I know and I am proud of each and everyone. But I can't help it. You guys at least have to visit me frequently. Right?"

" Yes. Yes. I am very sorry Patti ma. Your first grandson is always pain in ass. He is worst boss I have ever seen. He doesn't permit leave. You know?" I pouted.

"He also didn't come here na. He will definitely going to pay for it. Don't worry Kutty ma." She sighed sadly.

I chuckled that Shiva will be gone when he face Patti ma.

After freshen up, we went to living room. There my family...

I straightly went to my Appa , chithappa and uncles. They all hugged me.

God I missed them so much. ..

Well your Dad and Ravi mama only come here before one week. Here comes my devil mind.

So what I missed them.

"Kutty ma you become very thin. Do you take your food at time or not?"Arvind mama asked me.

All of them nodded. My Appa says, "Yes she always eat very little breakfast and dinner. I wonder Is she really eat her lunch?" Ravi Mama continue, " I think that Shiva eats her lunch too."

Like seriously, that donkey always teases me that I eat a lot . Here they says this. I chuckled that thought.

Out of nowhere my Amma give her entry, "Woah... She is the one who snatch Shiva's lunchbox too. Poor boy!" Here comes Donkey's supporter.

I goes to Seetha Ma who supposed to be my supporter and hugged her, " Look at her Seetha ma. I ate his lunch too, when Seetha ma cooks food. Not when you cook." I show my tongue to her.

"Ohh god I miss my boy here. If he is here, he will cut that tongue of yours. Next time come and plead me that Amma please give me one more dosa, I will see you then." My mom snorted me.

"Haan.. Like I let him cut my tongue and be idle." I rolled my eyes at her.

You don't have to said that to your Mom. Her dosa and sambar is best combo ever. I dreamily licked my lips at the thought of Dosa and Sambar.

Ohh god why do she have to remind me dosa, Now I am damn hungry. I am going to eat first.

"Stop it already guys. Come to eat. Dinner is ready." Rey Chithi announced.

"Ohhh... Chithi your words are like honey to my ear. Come on come on we will go." I dragged her to kitchen. But she asked me to go and went to call others.

There I see Sakthi akka and Ishu. I hugged Sakthi akka.

"hoo.. I think someone is very happy to see me after one year."

Ohhh god why all of them have to taunt me. I pouted, "Akka don't you dare start to taunt me. Already Patti Ma gave me enough dosage ."

"Okay Okay but what will you give me if don't taunt you?"

Troubles of having Businesswoman as Akka. Huff always dealings.

" Can't our boy is enough for you?" I asked her.

"huff.. don't talk to me about him" I wonder what Sidhhu did that my always cool Akka turns out like tomato.

God she is blushing man. But why?

Ask her already idiot.

I am going to ask her. You don't have to tell me that. I rolled my eyes to my devil mind. How dare it called me an idiot. Huff.. Now I ask akka first.

"Why are you become a tomato akka?" I asked her. Ishu starts to laugh like hell and received glare from Akka. I looked them skeptically.

" Evening he came to kitchen. I warned that idiot that don't do monkey works in kitchen and asked him to get out. But he started to play with ingredients and Ramya also came here and he drags her to play with him. After five minutes they started world war 3 in kitchen. Patti ma, athai, ma's and vaishu all of them came to kitchen by their war. I started to shout at them. Then... he... he..."

"he ... he... what akka?" I asked.

"After that Sidhhu mama kissed her cheeks and ran out of kitchen with Ramya" Ishu told me and starts to laugh. I also started to laugh. Akka have slight blush on her cheeks and fake glare at us.

We suppressed our laughter. She turns to Ishu and said "Sidhhu only kissed me at cheeks. If your Shiva is here, he will kiss on your lips." Now Ishu's turn to blush like tomato. " Akkaaaaa",She whinned. I laughed at her. They two turns to me and say, " We will see what will your husband do!" I went silent. They two started to laugh at poor me.

Everyone are eager to get me married.

"Okay I am hungry guys. Come on, we will set dinning table."

We three set the table and went to living room to see where others. There we see Krithik.

What is he doing here? I mean he said he won't make it this time.

We three go to him. Krithik already started to tell how beautiful the Air hostess in his flight is."

This boy and his flirting..

I smacked his head from behind. He turns to me and grinned after see me. He dramatically take my hand and kissed back of the palm, "Ohh.. Princess you look more beautiful than last time." And this little brat winked me.

All men were shook their heads and all ladies starts to laugh at his naughtiness. Patti ma smacked his head, " For god sake, she is four years older than you idiot."

He doesn't affect from that. He grinned at Patti ma, "Ohh.. Don't jealous of her Pretty lady. She is not as beautiful as you. In fact none of them is not beautiful as you." Patti ma see him with wide eyes and muttered under her breath, " This boy will never change."

He grins for that too and asked " Where is Vaishu,Ramya,Shiva and Shiddhu?"

My Mom tell him, " Shiva can't make this time da. Siddhu takes Ramya and Vaishu out in evening and not come till now." She smirked at Sakthi akka.

Poor Sakthi akka! She already started blushing. Ishu and I chuckled little.

" Shiva didn't came here. But how did she let that happened?" he asked while pointing me.

"Well. He needs to attend the meeting at new York." Patti ma shrugged, "guys don't you get hungry yet? I am damn hungry." I said.

At the same time Shiddhu,Ramya and Vaishu. When Vaishu see Krithik stand here, she doesn't believe her eyes and see him wide eyes. Then she turns her head away and ignored Krithik.

Krithik went hugged Shiddhu and Ramya, then he went to Vaishu but she simply came to me and hugged me, "Akka sorry. I wasn't here to welcome you. when I came you slept because of tiredness."

I smiled her and says, " No worries princess. Now you are here." she too smiled and hugged one more time and says, " I missed you Akka."

"Aww.. my little princess missed me. I missed you too." I pulled her cheeks. She takes my hand from my cheeks, " arrrgghh... Akka don't do that." She whinned.

" Did you mean this vaishu?" I asked while pulling her cheeks again.

"Aiyyo. You didn't change at all" said while making faces. I laughed. Krithik came to us. But Vaishu went from there.

Something is wrong right? Otherwise she have make this house up and down when she saw Krithik. She is Krithik's little princess. In his world, is there a girl he doesn't flirt? Then it's Vaishu. But that guy is over protective around her. He is worst than Shiva and Shiddhu.

Yeah right. remember what he did on her 10th birthday, he cause a skull fracture to her classmate just because that little boy gave red rose to Vaishu.

He is dangerously over protective when it's come to Vaishu. All credits goes to Donkey and Dumbie, they don't let Me and Ramya play with any boys from childhood. So he takes them as his role model.

I will ask Vaishu after dinner. Dinner is done with lot of bickerings, smirkings, pleadings, remembering memories of childhood, etc,....

After dinner all elders goes to temple for engagement preparations. We youngsters went to garden and sat there.

Me, Ramya, Vaishu, Ishu, Sakthi akka, Siddhu, Krithik all sat in circle and munching our chocolates that Shiddhu bought in evening. Patti Ma took Raj with Her.

Ramya hmmming to karthik in her phone from the dinner. He also hmmming on otherline I think. I shook my head in disbelieve.

They and their hmmmings. Huff...

Ishu is lecturing Donkey to take dinner on time in phone. Romancing through phone.

Shiddhu trying to romance silently with my blushing Akka. But she doesn't let him do that. Poor boy!

Vaishu is still giving cold shoulder to Krithik. But he doesn't seen little bit regretful. I don't know what he did?

Poor me scrolling insta feeds.

why don't we do something that get their attention. My mind gave me an idea.

I silently goes near tap and put gardening hose in that. I opened tap and go near them.

" Guys why don't you give me some attention." I say in loud voice. They all turned their head in my direction. I immediately push the hose to them.

All of them fully drenched in water. I laughed at their shocked faces.

They started screaming and came to caught me. but I started to run.

Krithik takes mud in his hand and throw in my direction. It straightly landed on my face. They started laughing at me. I takes mud and throw at Krithik. But that brat miss that and mud landed on Ishu. She throw mud on me. I ran behind Shiddhu and mud ball landed on him. he takes some mud and throw it on Ishu, but mud landed on Vaishu. Krithik andSakthi akka laughed at us. We gave them a mud bath. Soon We all covered by mud. Then sidhhu took waterpipe and we all dance in that water and clean ourselves.

We went to our respective rooms and changed the dirty cloths and came to terrace. Sakthi akka brought some snacks with her.

I asked Vaishu, "what sin he did? Why are you giving cold shoulder to him. tell me I will give you some good ideas to punish him." while pointing Krithik. He scowled at me. Vaishu glared him.

"This idiot first told me that he doesn't come home this time. I pleaded him to come. But he refused but one week before I mistakenly told him that kavin asked me to go out. Kavin is my crush. Now he came to home for beat him. you know after landed here, he straightly goes to kavin and warned him to not speak with me. you know akka, how I struggled to make kavin speak with me but this idiot wasted all my efforts." She whinned.

Krithik shrugged, "then what do you ask me to do? Ask him to marry you? he is not nice guy. That's why I warn him to stay away from you."

"Ohhh stop it. You not only scared him. You flirt with my friend Roshini while asking his address. When she give you the address, you flirted with her. I didn't believe her. I even scold her. But now seeing you here, She is Right.  How many times I told you to not flirt with my friends?"

"Aiyyo. I asked her to not told you. did she told you?" He muttered under his breath. He looks like a child caught when that try to steal boost from kitchen.

We all started to laugh. Krithik glared us to not laugh.

"tell me why the hell you flirt with her?" Vaishu asked him with pure anger.

He gulped, "Vaishu she lied to you. she is the one who started to flirt with me. I am innocent here."

"Innocent my foot. I know you very well Krithik."

"Vaishu Kutty please please just this time forgive me. I won't speak to your friends." He gives her his most innocent looking puppy eyes.

Vaishu softened, " next time if I see you speaking with any of my friends, then I don't know what will I do?"

He grinned, " I swear I won't talk with that roshini."

" not only roshini, you won't talk with any of my friends and ask sorry to kavin."

"Why do I have to ask him sorry? And you won't talk with him and won't go anywhere with him."

"Aiyyo. Why can't you change little bit?" Vaishu muttered under her breath.

"what?" Krithik asked her. "Nothing." She answered. We shook our head in disbelieve.

After chitchatting for some time. We all slept in terrace.
