Jeremy took the glass from one of his men and took a sip from it relishing it's taste. "Get her back to the bed and reconnect the tubes as for this one here" he pointed to Anaiah " get her to her room and lock it "Jeremy relayed and walked out of the room.

The clicking of shoes against the clean spotless floor of one of the grandest Manor's in the country was heard as a woman dressed in a fitted black gown which is slightly above her knee was seen swaying her hips side to side as she made her way to the entrance of the manor. The woman was none other than the famous actress and also model Mia Barlow. The butler of the mansion quickly made his way to where she was because he knew how their boss held the lady in high regards. "Where's Kaden"Mia queried walking past the butler and made herself comfortable in one of the couches there. "I'm sorry but master is not at home-"the butler began but she interrupted him ."Call him and tell him I'm waiting for him"Mia said and the butler nodded he knew that his master always favoured the lady and adhere to her wishes. Not long after the call was made Kaden made his way to the Manor. Mia smiled seductively and stood up to hug him but Kaden walked past her and settled on one of the couches."I didn't know you were going to visit "he asked waving his hand for one of the servants to come. "I thought the butler called you not so long ago "Mia muttered trying to conceal her anger of not being hugged by Kaden . "He did ?"Kaden queried and Mia wanted to glare at him but changed the topic."I heard you've finally agreed to get married ". Kaden gulped down the blood tea that was offered to him by the servant and said "that was fast , it was only yesterday that I had announced it and you've already heard about it ". Mia didn't know what to make out of this , didn't Kaden love her anymore ."What about me !, What about us Kaden !"Mia snapped frustratingly. 'This was what he wanted, for her to beg for his attention '. "I thought there were no us that's why I decided to settle down"Kaden replied nonchalantly ." Babe please don't do this to me! I'm sorry about what happened between us please "Mia pleaded walking to where Kaden was sitting and held his hand which he didn't refuse. 'She was never going to let Kaden slip out of her hands never!, First came his looks and then all his fortune and attention and also the love she had for him .Kaden stared at her from his thick lashes and some of his hair which was now hovering over his eyes . He held her hand and pulled her to sit on his laps which made her heart skip a beat . "There's no need to worry about the news about my marriage because you know you're the only woman that I love "he muttered seductively and held her chin before pulling her face closer to his."The marriage is not a real one just a contract marriage which won't be effective after a year "he explained bringing her face closer when Mia mumbled"But we can go through the same ordeal and later break up after a year ".Kaden stared into her eyes which had turned red he could see the uncertainty which was visible in her eyes , there was no way he was going to leave her and go to another girl but sometimes a little twist in the story makes it fun ' he thought and chuckled ." I wouldn't want to impose such burden on you Mia , you're too precious to be disgraced in front of the media "he answered and without waiting for her response captured her lips .

"Ah" Anaiah groaned whiles clutching her head , 'it's swollen' she noted and sat up on the bed . She remembered what happened before she passed out and her eyes welled with tears at how helpless she was in helping her mother .' was there really no way out 'she thought and got down from the bed before walking to one of the drawers there and pulled it , inside it lay the knife and the green murky like potion. "I guess I don't have a choice than to succumb to my faith ". Anaiah stared at the knife and wondered what was so special about the knife that only one stab plus the liquid would warrant Kaden's death .
