Dinner with the Welcher's III

No sooner had she prayed, she heard footsteps approaching . Anaiah's heart skipped a beat. 'Oh no!' she thought with her eyes glued to the entrance but constencia thought she was rather eager to meet Kaden. Marcello entered and following suit was his wife, Mella ,Edward,Reece, Avery and finally Jiovanni tailing behind. Anaiah let go of the breath she didn't know she was holding. ' I'm sure Kaden is going to give me a heart attack before he even makes his appearance ' she thought rubbing her chest.

Alesasandra was sitting on Anaiah's right with wendy on her left and Jeremy beside Alessandra. The Welcher's settled in their seats and couldn't stop staring at the beauty goddess infront of them. Even though they were vampires they couldn't help but compliment her in their head since they didn't want to voice it out. Jioavanni gave a side glance as a smile made it's way on his lips.Anaiah avoided eye contact because the last thing she wanted was to see disgust in their eyes. Edward glared at the human girl who had the audacity to become Kaden's wife. He would never allow anthing as such it will never happen not unless it's his daughter' he thought. Wendy couldn't help but gape at the expensive jewelleries on their necks. she could already imagine her future with them.

Finally they heard powerful footsteps approaching and knew that Kaden has already arrived. The room fell into utter silence when he emerged into their view.Wendy whipped her head to the entrance and her heart skipped a couple of beats when she saw Kaden,He was dressed in an expensive black suit with possibily nothing covering his chest, the top two buttons of his shirt was undone revealing his hard chest. His inky black hair was dishelved which made peoples imagination run wild the very moment they spot him and Wendy was no excepetion she gulped and couldn't help but take a sip from the glass of water in front of her. They saw the old man too appear right after him and they all stood up when they saw Kaden, even though the throne is now in Marcello's possesion he stil held the air of the king of vampires and so they all stood up,all except Marcello. Everyone sat down after he did , even though Anaiah didn't know why they stood up she still did since she felt the intimidating aura blazing from him. Anaiah mustered her courage and looked up at him and felt her heart lept away because he was looking directly at her. She quickly averted her sight. 'He's so handsome' she thought and started sweating profusely possibily scared. Constencia smiled with satisfaction when she saw Kaden staring at Anaiah. Arnold the old man also nodded and smiled. Everyone was silent and intimidated by Kaden's presence, no one could muster enough courage to break the tension. Jiovanni chuckled at the power his cousin held ,even his own father was a mute in front of him. Reece who could't stand the tension anymore cleared her throat and muttered" I'm so happy today, finally Kaden decided to get married!". Everyone sighed in relief as the servants began to serve the food. Anaiah shook her head in disbelief her dad was expecting her to kill someone like this!.' This is a suicide mission!' she screamed in her head. Anaiah felt him staring at her and gritted her teeth , can he at least stop staring! she yelled at him but of course in her head. "This is my eldest daughter Wendy" Jeremy began and paused . Wendy blushed hard and she looked at Kaden who didn't even bat an eyelid to look at her, his gaze was directed to her step sister!. Anaiah gripped her cutlery tightly and almost yelled at Kaden to stop staring when she felt his scorching gaze to be unbearable."And this is Anaiah"Jeremy introduced but Anaiah didn't even smile which widened the smirk on Kaden's face. Jeremy smiled awkwardly and stomped on her feat under the table. Anaiah bit her lip to stop herself from groaning and lifed her gaze to put on a tight smile which earned a chukle from him. Jiovanni couldn't help but smirk as he sipped on his blood tea.' it seams things are much more interesting than I thought' he thought." Pff! she's so disrespectful" Mella complained loudly glaring at her, such a nerve she has for doing that 'Mella thought and Anaiah smiled in her head 'good 'at least she can create an impression that she has the worst character' she thought as a new hope arose in her . She saw everyone staring at her waiting for an apology but she ignored them and took a sip from the wine in front of her. Marcello narrowed his eyes whiles Edward scoffed. But Reece didn't find anything bad with her character, she liked the fact that she was not faking to be happy about this when she was not. Alessandra gritted her teeth at Anaiah's behavior and apologised, "Forgive her Mella, Anaih is a very shy girl". Mella snorted and continued eating . Anaiah intentionally swiriled her hand in such a way that the wine poured on herself.' Excellent Anaiah you're such an actress'she praised herself and stood up drawing everyone's attention. Her stained dress came into view and Wendy trying to be the good sister she ws exclaimed as if shocked which she wasn't one bit,"Oh my God what happened to you!". Anaiah smiled and said" nothing much the drink just spilled on me ,I'll go to the was room and clean up" she added. She needed some privacy to devise a better plan so that Kaden's family will not like her. Reece who saw her full body shape gasped ,"this girl is damn beautiful, she had the curves that almost every girl is looking for" she mumbled. "Then let me help you''wendy proposed and Anaiah narrowed her eyes ,'what does she want this time." No my lovely sister I'm sure your food wiil turn cold, please I'll handle this allow me'"Anaiah countered and flashed her a smile ."Then at least let one of the serv- " constencia began and was interjected by Kaden ."I'll go with you".
