"Beast ,you're a beast"yelled the man who's friend was being killed gruesomely . Kaden burst into laughter as he strode to the man who's friend was killed." How satisfying it is to see you this scared" he said with amusement in his eyes." I must say I'm pleased" he countered as he motioned his hand for the guards to take the body away. Licking the blood that had splattered on his lips he queried " now do you care to tell me who sent you ?". The man tried to scramble away from him but the chains on his hand and legs restricted his movement. "And why do you think I'll tell you" the man asked with his heart thumping. The man was possibly a human who had no idea what Kaden was capable of. Grabbing his chin he raised the man's head to look him in the eye and said"because I said so "as his eyes flickered to red. The man's face paled in horror when Kaden's iris changed ."You're a-a v-ampire " he stuttered. Swallowing hard he started pleading for his life" I'm sorry , please don't kill me , I swear I'm going to tell you everything" he begged feeling remorseful about his actions. But Kaden was not satisfied with the man's sudden surrender , he wanted to torture him and hear him scream but it seems it won't come to pass. He chuckled in disappointment and asked " so tell me who sent you ?". " S-samuel piper he's called Samuel piper" he answered and just when he thought he would hurt him , he stood up wiped his hands with the tissues given to him and walked out . His eyes flicked back to red and he instructed the man who was following him like a shadow."Graves, find who samuel piper is ". He began walking again when Graves enquired " what about the man in the cell". "Let him be he'll be of use someday " he stated and walked away.
Anaiah fluttered her eyes open when she felt someone splash water on her."How're you doing ?" she heard her dad's voice and looked in his direction.She gritted her teeth and was about to stand up when she heard some chains jingle. She looked down and realised that she has been chained to a chair." You're a fool if you think this will make me listen to you" she yelled at him. Jeremy smiled crouching down to her level to look her in the eye" you don't have a choice" and his iris flickered into red. A gasp escaped her lips as she stared wide eyed at her father who's eyes has turned completely red. "What happened to you?" she whispered almost choking in tears. "I got revived " he started and paused before adding " but that's a story for another day I'll be bringing you to my mansion so make sure you behave". He warned and she gulped , objecting with determination " I'm not going anywhere with you ! ". " You really amuse me Anaiah do you think I'm asking you?" he arched a brow at her and ordered" put her to sleep and get her ready". Just then similar women with red eyes entered the room, 'oh no they're all vampires ' she thought scared. It was a fact that vampires were far stronger than humans were. " Dad please don't do thi-mmmm" Anaiah tried to scream but was silenced by the women who covered her mouth and she passed out.
" Dad I wanted you to check this out" a woman dressed in a jam suit with her had held in a messy bun said with a radiant smile on her lip ." Hmm it's nice ,Wendy I think is high time you publish your designs " Jeremy stated staring at her daughter"' Wendy smiled with a satisfied smile and said "I will dad". Hesitating for some time he said ,"we'll be having visitors tomorrow , they'll be staying over for some days " . Wendy nodded not finding any fault in that and left.
The next day Anaiah opened her eyes it was already morning. She felt a strong headache and sat up on the bed. This time around she wasn't tied and she was in this luxurious room. She panicked and quickly removed the duvet from herself when she realised she was in her nightgown ,'what's going on '. She pretended to be sleeping when she heard footsteps approaching . The door opened and a woman dressed elegantly entered, she walked to Anaiah and stared intently at her ." She's very beautiful " she mumbled and told the servants who had entered the room with her not to wake her up but allow her to rest to her heart's content. She waited to hear the click of the door before exhaling. Now Anaiah was really confused, 'what on earth is going on' she thought again and sat up. What greeted her eyes were six servants, three standing at each side if the bed . She almost screamed and quickily checked their eyes and thanked heavens when they weren't red before sighing in relief." What's the meaning of this ?" she asked confused. "Good morning madam" they greeted in unison and one countered "madam please you need to get ready". Anaiah stared at them intently before asking " what for?" .The servant exchanged glances before one answered"because master Jeremy and Mrs Alessandra are waiting for you at the table for breakfast". Anaiah rolled her eyes, all these are not necessary because she wasn't going to do any of those stupid things he wants her to do . " I'm not going anywhere now all of you should leave !" she yelled and they scrambled out. If she needed to devise a proper plan then she has to lock herself up in this room. She rushed to the door and quickly locked it when they all left. Anaiah leaned on the door famished. She looked around it was a vast room , far bigger than what she lives in at home with her mother. The room was made luxuriously which made her question how he was able to achieve so much wealth in just two years. Taking a deep breath she walked in the room and pulled the drawers trying to find anything that would help her get out of here and also to make sure she wasn't going to be hurt.She sighed and turned to the bed to rest and think through this jambled mess when a firm knock sounded on the door."I would've adhere to everything I was told if I were to be you, but what can I say apart from being graced with so much beauty at every nook and crook of your body you're as dumb as your mom. Get out from the room in the next 5 minutes if you want to dine with your mom! " Jeremy yelled from the door and she sat up,' mom is here'.
