CH95. I know I am brainless

"I know I am brainless," Ye Xiao Xiao says angrily. "But you have no right to keep reminding me about it every time."

She has been called brainless so many times by him. Is he the only one that sees that she is stupid? 

So what if he is intelligent? Does he think he will keep on looking down on people?

Lu Min Chen realises that she is mad at him. He stands up from the seat and holds onto her shoulders. "I did not mean to make you angry," he says. "I just want to inform you that Han Chan is not as innocent as she looks, ask around."

Ye Xiao Xiao just stares at him blankly. Her attention is on the hands on her shoulders.

She does not know why she gets this jitsy when she comes into contact with him.

"Ye Xiao Xiao, Han Chan is looking for a way to get rid of any woman close to me. Don't listen to her words," he says.

In other words, he is telling her that she should not listen or pay attention to anything Han Chan says about him.

She should even forget what she said about him the other day. He is not that kind of a man

But he just can't say it directly.

"I will know the truth by myself," she says and tries brushing him off. She does not want to listen to him telling her that someone else is bad.

"Okay," Lu Min Chen flattens his lips and shrugs his shoulder. "But you are going to find it out soon. Han Chan and my grandma are like a daughter and her mother. She went to the old villa crying yesterday. I am not sure if she has already said something to her."

Ye Xiao Xiao remembers that there is still this matter in hand. She trembles again.

Seeing that she is getting fearful again, Lu Min Chen smiles hiddenly. "The good thing is that everyone knows I dont touch women. You will have to defend yourself if they question you."

"Um...young master?" Ye Xiao Xiao calls. He took advantage of her and he is now trying to act like it was never his mistake to begin with?

"Yes?" Lu Min Chen asks as he leans against his working desk.

"Can you stop her from saying anything?" She asks. "She will probably listen to you."

"Tsk tsk," Lu Min Chen laughs again. "You are really funny Ye Xiao Xiao. Han Chan has been spreading rumours everywhere that I am engaged to her, haven't you heard of it?" He asks as his face turns dark at that thought.

"Mmh?" The naive Ye Xiao Xiao that has never even had time to listen to other people asks. 

She only remembers that Wang Ting Ting has ever mentioned it casually. It only looked like the two of them were enemies, and that she was badmouthing her. 

It was normal for enemies to do that to each other.
