CH79. Brother Mo?

"What do you mean by that?" Ye Xiao Xiao asks and looks her Wang Ting Ting.

"Aren't you two in love? Just look at all these things he brought you," she says and pulls a bag of snacks.

"Oh...I had even forgotten about them," Ye Xiao Xiao says and tears open a pack of biscuits to start eating. "But...our relationship is not as you think. He is just like my elder brother."

"Okay," Wang Ting Ting shrugs her shoulders. "As far as he brings is these snacks regularly, it is good," she says and they begin eating happily.

"Ha! You are wrong Wang Ting Ting," Ye Xiao Xiao says with a smile. "This is the first and last time you are enjoying these. I said I am going to resign...tomorrow."

"What? So soon," Wang Ting Ting complains. Then she smiles. "Have you talked about it to the young master?"

Everyone in the company now knows that the young master treats Ye Xiao Xiao exceptionally good. She is the only girl there, apart from manager Chen, who ever gets a chance of talking to him.

He even visits her in her room and brings her food. They are all envious of her and wish that they could get the same treatment.

"Yeah," Ye Xiao Xiao says. "But..."

"He refused?" Wang Ting Ting asks with a wide smile. "I knew...how would he let you leave. Keep dreaming about that!"

"I don't care of what he says," Ye Xiao Xiao answers. "If he does not allow me to leave, I will just call brother Mo. He will come for me."

"Mmh," Wang Ting Ting says. "You are better off having all those. People like us..."

Wang Ting Ting is the first born of her family. They are poor and her dad is a gambler.

She struggles to work so that she can provide for her mom and her younger brother. But her father is still always there, causing troubles for them.

"You are speaking a lot," Ye Xiao Xiao says. "Let us enjoy the snacks when we still have the chance." She knows that Wang Ting Ting gets sad when she talks about her family.

"Mmh, that is true," Wang Ting Ting agrees and they go back to eating happily.

But the moment Wang Ting Ting leaves, Ye Xiao Xiao takes her phone and stares at it for a long time. 

Then she sends Lin Mo a text. "Brother Mo?" 

She places her phone away in fear. She hopes that she is not disturbing him.

But even after a long time, she gets no response. She goes back and realises that the text was not delivered.

She tries to send it again but it fails. Thinking that it is network issues, she puts her phone away to sleep. She promises herself to call him very early in the morning. 

Since she sleep a lot during the day, she has a lot if problem falling asleep.

Images of the young master's behavior in the day keep flashing in her head. She hugs herself tightly in embarrassment.
