CH67. It was nothing to do with you

"Xiao Xiao please...can you do this for me?"

Ye Xiao comes back to her senses and looks at the woman. Then she looks at the distant body of the young master they are talking about.

"I can't promise you anything now, but let me think it over first...." Ye Xiao Xiao says and blushes again when she tries thinking that they want her to date that evil man.

"Okay!" Madam Lu says. "You can think it over...I know my sweet Xiao Xiao won't disappoint me."

It is then that the two men stop before them. "Xiao Xiao is a good girl of course," Master Lu says and smiles at her.

"Min Chen, you have to bring her home for dinner soon," he says and pats Lu Min Chen's shoulder. "Take good care of her."

He pulls his wife from the seat. "Let us go now," he says. But the woman seems reluctant to part from Ye Xiao Xiao.

She makes sure she has hugged her enough before leaving. "Think it over again Xiao Xiao. Remember to do as I told you."

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at their departing bodies with creased brows. Then she turns to the man beside her. "You! What did you tell your parents? Why are they acting this crazy?" She asks.

"I did not tell them anything. They just saw it," Lu Min Chen says nonchalantly, but his stare on her deepens.

Looking at her face like that makes his heart beat faster. It would be so good if he had married her and taken her to his house. He does not want other men to look at her.

"They saw..." Xiao Xiao stops when she remembers that they actually saw her being fed by the young master.

"Mmh? What happened? What did you talk to my mom about?" Min Chen asks and moves closer to her.

Ye Xiao steps back in alert. She shakes her head. "Nothing. We spoke nothing," she states but her face blushes when she remembers that his mother has been trying to persuade her to date him.

"You were not silent all through, right?" Lu Min Chen asks. "Why don't you want to say it?"

Ye Xiao Xiao refuses to answer him and starts walking past him. But the man holds her hand. "Why don't you want to answer me? What did my mom ask you to do?"

Ye Xiao Xiao panics. Could it be that his parents are forcing him to marry her? Why does he look angry now?

She purses her lips. "It was nothing. We were just casually chatting."

"Are you sure? Why did she tell you to do then? And what are you supposed to think about?" He keeps questioning, like he will not let her off if she does not tell him.

"It was nothing to do with you. Let me go now!" 

Lu Min Chen smiles. "You people talked about me, right?" 

Ye Xiao Xiao shivers. Why is his smile looking evil? Her heart beats faster.
