CH66. We are now your parents

"He has..." Ye Xiao Xiao says and blushes immediately. Was that even a confession? He was only testing her, or playing with her feelings to annoy her.

"You don't like him?" Madam Lu asks and looks at her pitifully. She does not love Ah Chen? Why else would she not say yes to him?

Ye Xiao looks tensed up and shakes her head. "It is just that it is happening too quick... As in I am not ready for that..."

Oh! So that was it. You had scared me Xiao Xiao...there is still hope.

"He bullies you?" Madam Lu asks angrily. "I will punish him for that...no wait...from today, you are allowed to punish him. He won't do anything to you."

Madam Lu shakes her head at Ye Xiao Xiao. "No more buts dear. Just say yes to him the next time he proposes. You can just tell him to wait for you...but don't keep him waiting for so long. He is a good man...please, do this old lady that favour. Can you Xiao Xiao?"

Ye Xiao feels like crying. This woman is good. Or is it because she has grown up all her life without a mother, and she feels good when a woman praises her looks?

But about his son...she is sure that cold man will never be in love with a person like her. She is not any close yo matching up to him.
