CH420. My mommy?

"Yes my dear?" 

"I am not mad at you. I am just so happy that you are my daddy. I always hoped for that. But..."

" But?" Lu Min Chen asks in fear. His self confidence has been the worst for the last two years.

When it comes to family and love, he feels like a great loser.

"You have to tell me who my mommy is first or I will get mad at you," she says and eyes him.

"Hhmm," Lu Min Chen sighs. He had thought that she was going to tell him that she does not want him as her daddy any more.

"You want your mommy?" He asks her as his face finally relaxes. It is a good thing that he has finally reunited with Ye Xiao Xiao.

Things would have been tricky if he had not found her yet.

"Daddy, do not get me wrong," Little Liu Liu says as though she is a mature person.

"And what does that mean?" Lu Min Chen asks her, surprised again by her words.

"I know that you might not be able to show me to her. But at least, could you tell me her name?"

Lu Min Chen smiles at her. "You are overthinking baby," he says and pinches her chubby cheeks. "Your mommy's name is Ye Xiao Xiao."

"Uh?" Little Liu Liu opens her eyes wide and turns to look at her grandfather. "Is she grandpa's daughter that he always misses?"

"That is right," Ye Fu Chin nods at her.

"Okay, I get it," Little Liu Liu nods in understanding. "No wonder you are my grandpa."

The two burst out laughing. This kid. She is always so funny.

"Daddy..." She calls Lu Min Chen. "Do not worry, we shall find her."

Lu Min Chen kisses her cheeks again. "Thank you dear," he says. "But you do not have to worry about that anymore."

"Mmh?" Little Liu Liu looks at him in doubt again. Doesn't he care about her mommy anymore?

"I said I had a surprise for you. Don't you want to know what it is?" Lu Min Chen asks her.

"I want!" She says joyfully. She wants her daddy to surprise her.

"Okay, let me take you somewhere," he says and begins walking away after giving a grateful look at Ye Fu Chin.

Ye Xiao Xiao waits for a long time, but Lu Min Chen is not yet back.

She even begins worrying that he might have actually left. Maybe he is taking revenge on her for turning him away that day?

But just as she stands up to take a look outside, the door is pushed open.

"Where did you go? You scared me..." She stops when she sees Lu Min Chen walk in with a little kid in his arms. "Ah Chen?"

Little Liu Liu turns to look at her when she hears a woman's voice. And her heart beats so loud.

She looks at Lu Min Chen with expectant eyes. "My mommy?" She asks.

And Lu Min Chen nods softly at her before flashing Ye Xiao Xiao a warm smile.
