CH42. A maniac in love

The man watches calmly as she eats while manager Chen pities her.

But she still does not understand why Xiao Xiao is trying to act distant with the young master.

It is clear that he has shown interest in her and that he cares so much about her. Why is she still acting reserved?

Isn't she supposed to embrace this chance with both hands and be very grateful for it?

There are so many girls outside and inside the company that have their eyes on Lu Min Chen. But he has never even spared them a glance.

When she is almost done eating, Lu Min Chen sends the manager away. They are the only two left.

But Xiao Xiao says nothing to him. She quickly finishes her food and even washes the plate. Then she begins walking away.

But Lu Min Chen stands on her way with his hands in his pockets. "Why are you still crying?" He asks softly.

Xiao Xiao assumes him and tries finding a smaller space where she can walk away.

But the man pulls out his hands from his pockets and holds her shoulders. "You are not allowed to assume me from now onwards," he states and wipes away her tears with the back of his hands.

Xiao Xiao swallows hard and looks away from him. She hates this boss who is a bully a lot. 

"Didn't you say that I was a maniac? I want to be a maniac in love," he says in her ears and runs his hands through her ear. "Now go to sleep baby. I will come to see you later."

He kisses her cheeks and moves from the way. He has decided to force her into being his. He is not going to give her any chance to walk away. She will have to bear with his maniac's love towards her.

Xiao Xiao walks away with a tensed up body. Is he just trying to make life difficult for her?

But when she just negotiates a corner, she runs into Han Chan. She is startled at first then she comes back to her senses.

"Are you okay Xiao Xiao?" Han Chan asks with a smile on her face. But only Ye Xiao Xiao is dumb enough not to see that the smile is fake.

Ye Xiao Xiao nods her head. "I am fine Han Chan," she says and tries walking past her.

But the girl holds her back. "Wait...why are you crying? Don't tell me..." She stops and looks behind her.

Xiao Xiao looks at her in confusion. Does she know whatever she has been through?

Han Chan moves closer to her ears and whispers fearfully. "Is the young master disturbing you?"

Xiao Xiao remains quiet, and it looks like an agreement to Han Chan's question.

"Hhm! So these rich people never change," Han Chan says with a sad look on her face. "Thinking that he still has the courage to do the same to other girls..."

"What did he do?" Xiao Xiao asks as fear creeps into her.
