CH416. How is she?

At the hospital.

"How is she?" Lu Min Chen asks worriedly.

"As I told you, she does not have any external or internal injury. She is quite fine. You pulled her out of danger," the doctor explains for the nth time.

"Why is she not awake yet then?" Lin Mo, who has been worried all through asks in confusion.

"Yeah, that is right," Ye Fu Chin chips in. " It has been so many hours. Why is she not waking up?"

"Mmh, she must have been so frightened that she passed out. Her brain is currently going through a lot of activities. That is the reason she is not awake now. But it is normal. There is nothing to fear about," to get doctor assures them.

Lu Min Chen sighs in relief. He had gotten so scared when he saw her almost being hit by the car.

Luckily, he reacted so quickly and pulled her out of danger's way. But she passed out immediately out of shock.

"You two can go back now," Lu Min Chen says. "I will look after her."

Lin Mo eyes him from aside. " Are you sure she will not kick you out when she wakes up?" She asks teasingly.

Lu Min Chen looks away when he remembers how she was against talking to him that say. And his moods drop again.

That is right. She might not want to see him when she wakes up. And she will refuse taking to him too.

"I think, he should stay and talk to her. He has to keep trying," Ye Fu Chin says. "I will bring Little Liu Liu. That might make her change her mind."

After sharing his finding with the two, Lu Min Chen feels at easy now.

And that is especially after Ye Fu Chin confessed that Little Liu Liu was actually their child.

"Mmh," Lin Mo nods. "I think it will work out well. I wish you well brother."

"Fire!" A little girl screamed as she ran behind a young boy. "Brother Ting... I am scared..."

"Hold on a little more Xiao Xiao. It will be well," a boy, slightly older than her said. 

They were running, running away from the burning orphanage. And they were scared.

Those scary men were already behind them. And they were chasing them with all their might.

Suddenly, the environment changed. And the girl was hiding behind a bush a long a certain road.

A car appeared from the distance. She began shivering more, thinking it was her enemies. 

But the person that came out made her gain hope. "Ah Chen?" She called as tears fell from her eyes.

"Ting asked me to come for you. Hurry up or it will be late," Ah Chen told her as he hugged her.

"Save my brother. Please save him," The girl begged. Her brother, whom she had just learnt that he was her brother today, still he as those men after him.

"He is alright," Ah Chen said as the car drove away.
