CH410. He is your husband

"Brother..." Ye Xiao Xiao quickly moves behind Lin Mo. "I do not want to go with him. I do not want anything to do with him!"

"Xiao Xiao, he is your husband," Lin Mo speaks up at last.

"I do not care! I do not want to go," Ye Xiao Xiao says again. "I hate him! He is a bully!"

"Xiao Xiao... He is not. He is someone who loves you the most. Please, go with him..."

"Brother?" Ye Xiao Xiao calls as tears begin falling from her eyes. "You are betraying me today? You no longer want me?"

"No please Xiao Xiao," Lin Mo says and turns to look at her.

But Lu Min Chen is a step ahead. He brings his hand, ready to wipe away her tears. 

But she knocks it off. "No! Do not touch me you maniac..."

"Stop it now dear," Lin Mo says and wipes away her tears.

"I do not want to go," she keeps repeating the same words.

And Lu Min Chen turns to looks away from them. And he wipes away the tears from his eyes.

Ye Xiao Xiao wants nothing to do with him.

Lin Mo is taken aback when he sees him. Did the man just cry because of her?

They all remain silent for a long time. And only after some minutes does Lu Min Chen walk away, without saying any more words.

Lin Mo looks at his departing figure that is full of loneliness. And his heart aches for him too.

"Chen, wait," he calls. He wishes he had a chance to persuade Ye Xiao Xiao to go with him. Or just to accept him.

However, Lu Min Chen does not even reduce his walking pace. He walks out of the gate, not turning back even once.

He gets to his car and sits quietly. And he remains so motionless for a very long time without moving.

Back in the house, Lin Mo looks at Ye Xiao Xiao with a sigh. "That is true, he is your husband."

"But you never mentioned him before. I do not want to be married. Tell him never to show up again," Ye Xiao Xiao says stubbornly.

"Can you change your mind about him? He is a good man I swear," Lin Mo tries to persuade her.

But the results are just the same. " I said no!" Ye Xiao Xiao says and stands up, ready to leave for her room.

"Um...it is okay Xiao Xiao," Lin Mo says and hugs her. "I am sorry. I will not force you onto him if you do not want."

Ye Xiao Xiao wipes away her tears. And she looks Lin Mo in the eyes. "You made that promise to me. Do not break it."

"I will not. I will let you do your things the way you like, okay?" 

"Mmh," Ye Xiao Xiao says and begins walking away. 

But just some distance away, she stops and looks back at Lin Mo.

"What is it dear?" Lin Mo asks her. He had thought that she was already well.
