CH4. The little girl you were so much obsessed with in the past

Young master Lu sits back on his chair and eats his food. And for the first time,he eats everything he had been served.

This surprises also himself. He wonders what has gotten into his mind.

He accepts that the girl is really eye catching, but he has never been enthralled in someone's beauty before. 

In fact, women's beauty has never been any of his business.

He has never cared about any woman his whole life. He accepts there is really something special in her.

As usual, he goes back to his lonely mansion some distance from the orphanage. He always goes there late because apart from his few servants, he has no one to keep him company there.

He lies down on his bed and replays the conversation he had heard with Ye Jin Hong a few weeks ago.

"My daughter, for that matter, is now in your hands," he had said to him.

"But, how can you think of that? Your daughter needs special care. You know how much I hate girls," he had relented. "Unless you want me to push her into the orphanage."

Ye Jin Hong had nodded. "You can keep her there. I am sure she will cope. She is a good girl."

Lu Min Chen stays awake for a long time. He never wanted to disappoint this man, especially when he was at his death bed. He had just not thought much about his daughter.

And so, he had decided to take her just as an asset. Taking care of her while working in the orphanage would be a benefit to him.

"And please, don't allow her to learn anything about her past. It will only hurt her,' the man had pleaded.

When he went home that same evening, he had found both his parents waiting. " Son, do you remember that Little girl you were so much obsessed with in the past?" His dad had begun.

His statement angered Min Chen. His whole life, he had isolated himself from women. Ye Xiao Xiao is the only reason his parents have been teasing him.

"Dad,what is your point?" He had asked in annoyance. "I have a lot to do."

"And that is like my son," Mr Lu had said and handed him a letter. "I knew you don't usually like wasting any time."

Min Chen had read the letter and creased his brows. "Dad, what is this all about."

His father cleared his throat. "When you saved her, and before she was taken away from here, your grandpa had caused a great scene. I don't want to say it now. But after we found her dad, we demanded for payment. She had to serve you later when she had grown up."

"Dad!" Min Chen had called angrily. "You demanded for payment? Was it you who saved her?"

"It was for your own good, Xiao Chen. She is the only girl you had ever shown interest in. And we were sure you would not agree to associate with any other. That was the only reason we had. But you should be thankful we brought her back to you." The man said calmly and patted his son's back.
