CH397. Your name is Xiao Xiao

Even if he is mad, he cannot let her know it. She has been through so much already.

What she needs now is great protection and love. 

He looks into her eyes. " Tell me honestly," he says. "Do you remember your name?" 

Ye Xiao Xiao blinks her eyes again. Then she shakes her head. "Did something happen to me?"

Lin Mo sighs. That is true! That stupid man deleted her memories again.

Wasn't it enough that he hurt her that much? She had deep cuts on her belly and head. But he still went ahead to delete her memories?

"I am sorry for you dear," he says. "You were knocked down by a car. It seems like it affected you a lot. But everything will be fine, okay?" 

Ye Xiao Xiao nods her head. This man is so caring towards her.

"Your name is Xiao Xiao," Lin Mo adds. He was thinking of lying to  her so that he can keep her safe from any danger.

But he decides against it at the last thought. It will not be fair for her.

There are already so many things that have been kept from her.

"Xiao Xiao?" She asks him happily. To her, it is so intriguing to know of her name.

"Yes, Xiao Xiao," Lin Mo nods at her. "You have a very cute name, right?" 

There is a knock on the door, and the  doctor comes in. Lin Mo had called him before.

"You mean she is finally awake?" The doctor asks in disbelief. He personally knows how complicated her situation was.

Of all the patients he has ever had, she is the only one he had a low hope if her ever waking up.

"She is here, okay?" Lin Mo asks and kisses Ye Xiao Xiao's cheeks. God knows how much he cried when he was told that she had gone into a vegetative state.

"You had a strong will to live," the doctor pats Ye Xiao Xiao's head adoringly. This, to him, is like a miracle.

With her situation, it only took her two weeks to wake up?

"Thank you," Ye Xiao Xiao says with a smile. Were they so be worried about her that bad?

Anyway, it is true. She knows that she must have had a strong will to wake up.

A certain part of her brain tells her that she was fighting for something, or someone. Like she was fighting to protect something. 

But she cannot place the things in her mind again. She feels blank, like she is just a new born baby.

"I will carry out a check up on your body," he says and brings out his tools.

They have to make sure that she is fine to avoid more problems in the future.

After the check up, they all sigh in relief. Apart from her losing her memories, there is nothing more wrong with her.

At last, she can leave happily, like any other person. And Lin Mo swears to keep her happy.
