CH39. Does eating you up count?

Lu Min Chen narrows his eyes and looks at her. Then he smiles coldly and takes a step towards her.

Xiao Xiao tenses up and regrets her careless way of talking. This man looks so angry now. What does he want to do with her?

"You want to know why I am being nice to you?" He asks again coldly, staring at her with a questioning gaze.

Xiao Xiao shakes at his voice. She shakes her head immediately. No! She should better know nothing.

The creepy smile on young master's Lu Min Chen's face widens when he sees her shaking her head. "You must have known something from the beginning. Let's say...maybe I want something from you? That could be the reason I am being nice to you?"

He takes in a deep breath and looks at her pale face again. "That is right...what do you think it means when a man kisses a lady? And being so nice to you...just like you have said," he says and takes another step towards her, forcing her to lean against the still locked door.

"You know what Ye Xiao Xiao? You are right!" He says a little louder and leans towards her. "I am being nice to you because I want something from you. Does eating you up count?"

Ye Xiao Xiao trembles even more and turns her face away. Her hands are pressing backwards at the door in fear.

But that does not stop Lu Min Chen from doing what he wants to do to her. He leans forward, putting his palm on the back of her head and kisses her lips, briefly.

Xiao Xiao stretches her hand to push him away, but the man has already pulled off. That small kiss brings her a moment of awkwardness.

"Now that you know what I want, can you give me a chance? Or maybe make things a bit simpler for me?" Lu Min Chen asks her with a tiny smile on his thin lips, and he appears so seductive.

"You got me wrong young master," Ye Xiao Xiao says angrily. Does this man think she is foolish? How can she make things simpler for him?

He said he wants to eat her up...So all bosses are usually this immoral? 

And she had the guts to think that he cared about her. He was only trying to get what he wants from her.

The anger in her increases and she stares into his eyes. "Don't think every girl is the same. And you have to mind your image too, that is if you don't care about that of your employees," she says coldly and sneers.

Then she wipes off her mouth disgustingly with the back of her hand and opens the door calmly, ready to walk out.

Come what may. How can a distinguished boss like him behave so diminishingly? These young masters from prestigious families!

But Young Master Lu Min Chen does not even get mad at her. She is his future wife. Getting himself a wife can never be any simple.
