CH378. Who are we to be against it

There are things that she cannot express in words now. But all she wants is to get done with this damn lounge thing!

She does not know how much longer the old man is planning to let her keep her pregnancy from Lu Min Chen.

But she hopes that it will be over once she finishes working fur him 

But Lu Min Chen still does not respond. He keeps looking at her.

"Ah Chen please," Ye Xiao Xiao begs. "I am doing this for both of us. I will be fine, okay?"

Lu Min Chen remains silent for a while. And Ye Xiao Xiao keeps begging him until he gives in.

He looks at his grandfather with eyes full of hatred. "If anything happens to her, I will not take it lying down," he says.

"Huh? Are you threatening me now?" The old man asks. But he seems a little relaxed, not like he was before.

"Take it as you want. But I swear things will not be good if anything happens to her. I leave her in your hands now."

"That is settled now," Lu Chong Mu says and begins walking away.

"Not settled, wait," Lu Min Chen calls all of a sudden.   

"Is there anything else?" Lu Chong Mu asks with creased brows. 

"Of course there is," Lu Min Chen answers. "What do you plan to do for your granddaughter?"

Old Lu tenses up for some seconds. The he looks up at Lu Min Chen. "You are not trying to defend that bastard, right?"

Ye Xiao Xiao is a little sterned. She talked things out with Lu Min Chen about Lu Yu Yan yesterday. And funny enough, he was not so much against it.

He just told her that he would try looking into it. She did not think that he would do it this early.

And he brought it up to his grandfather at such a time. Doesn't he know how to seek death?

"No, I am not. But do you consider Yu Yan's feelings? She still loves him. And Yu Luoshan explained himself. Are you going to derive joy from her that much?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?" The old man asks. It seems like Lu Min Chen has just stepped on his live wire.

But that does not stop Lu Min Chen from talking more. 

This man just tried to anger him now by trying to separate him from his wife some minutes ago. He has to have a taste of his medicine too.

"We all know of what that happened. And Yu Yan, the person in question here understands. Who are we to be against it?" He asks.

Old Lu remains quiet. And he seems to get fighting with something inside him.

"Yu Yan stays with me. And I know what she is going through. Why don't we just let her get the joy she wants. Luoshan loves her. I am sure they will figure out how to handle their own things," Lu Min Chen continues talking.
