CH34. For them to fall in love

The other two people in room are stupefied. Why is he so much worried about her?

"Young Master, she is having her menstrual crumps," Manager Chen states quickly.

Who knows what he might get when he sets foot into her room at such a time?

Lu Min Chen freezes for a second before regaining his composure. Why was he stupid? He was clearly told that it was something normal. What else could be normal than a girl's menstrual flow?

"Has she taken something to cool her... I mean any painkillers?" He asks. He has little knowledge about such things and he knows that it might be painful.

"She has been throwing up whenever she tried them. I let her rest first," Manager Chen says with a sigh after the young master has stopped moving. But is still feels awkward about talking such things with him.

"Okay, keep her warm," he states and goes back to his seat.

The manager leaves the office together with Han Chan who has been assumed all through.

Han Chan bites her lips in anger. It took her a lot of begging for the manager to allow her to serve the young aster.

But all through, he has not paid her any attention. His mind is only full of that Ye Xiao Xiao!

So what if she was referred by Madam Lu? She, Han Chan was also referred by her. And her intention was for them to fall in love!

But Lu Min Chen has never even spared her a glance. And everything was well before Ye Xiao Xiao appeared.

She had thought that he had the same treatment for all women. He did not allow any female to serve him like the madam had always wanted.

Why did he accept Ye Xiao Xiao then? Who is she? She just looks like a poor girl without any background at all.

'I have to deal with this problem again before it is late,' she tells herself.

For the years she has been around, she has not allowed any woman close to Lu Min Chen.

She would get rid of any of them who tried to carry favour with him.

And that is what that she is going to do with Ye Xiao Xiao now. Not like she has not not yet tried getting rid of her...

Lu Min Chen sits in his office with no intention to take his breakfast.

His thoughts are on a certain someone. Is she really fine? Or is she in pain?

He creases his brows at the thought of her tossing on the bed in pain.

And when he cannot hold himself back anymore, he rises from his seat.

He takes steady steps towards the servant quotas with his long legs. He needs to see her to be sure that it is just a normal thing.

The door to her already familiar room is open. Seeing that there are already people in the room, he stands by the door to watch. But he makes no sound at all.

Xiao Xiao is lying on the bed with her stomach, her eyes tightly shut. She is in pain...real pain.
