When she goes back to cleaning, manager Chen holds her hands and stops her. "No, you can't continue like this. Go and rest until you feel better," she tells her.

Xiao Xiao purses her lips. "What about the young master?" She asks worriedly. He might get mad if she misses work today.

And she does not want to look like she is lazy. She was given an off yesterday by the young master.

Is it appropriate for her to take another one today?

"He will understand. I will talk to him. Go and rest... Cover yourself well," Manager Chen says and pushes her away.

"I am really sorry manager," Xiao Xiao says apologetically. "I am usually never this lazy."

"Don't speak too much. Go and rest," the manager says.

Han Chan looks up immediately with a smile on her lips. "Young master, Ye Xiao Xiao was not able to serve you today. So she asked me to do it on her behalf," she explains.

Her smile irritates the young master a lot. Why is she smiling now?

He opens his mouth to say something when Manager Chen walls in. He ends up shutting it instead.

"Young master, Ye Xiao Xiao is not feeling well today and Han Chan chose to serve you instead. But Ye Xiao Xiao will be back immediately she feels better," Manager Chen says.

Lu Min Chen's heart skips when he hears that she is not well. "Is she okay?" He asks and stands up.

"It is not serious," Manager Chen answers when she sees his reaction. "She will be okay after some rest."

"What is wrong with her? She would not have absconded her duties if it was nothing serious," Lu Min Chen says.

"Um...I mean it is something normal...you don't need to worry young master," Manager Chen explains.

Lu Min Chen gives her another stare and walks past her. "Since you can't tell me exactly what is wrong with her, I will check it myself."
