CH320. I wanted to see you and hug you

It is only after a long time that Lu Min Chen looks at her. "You were crying," he states.

Ye Xiao Xiao smiles weakly. "I was told that you called for me?" She asks, pretending not to know anything.

"How long have you been outside?" Lu Min Chen asks her instead. 

When she came in, he was scared that she had heard what he said. And that maybe she would talk some things in front of Lei Ran. He was scared that she would say she has never loved him.

"I just came. Did something happen?" She asks again. And her voice this time shows that she has submitted herself to him.

Lu Min Chen hugs her again. "No, nothing happened. I just missed you, and I wanted to see you and hug you."

All these are true. He means each of the words.

Ye Xiao Xiao smiles, and she tries hard to hide her face. Her heart is even beating so loud. "Can I go now?"

"Not yet," Lu Min Chen says. "You did not say anything about why you were crying. Did someone bully you?"

Ye Xiao Xiao shakes her head. "Nope, I am just feeling a little tired. It is not like I was crying."

"You were overworked?" He asks again worriedly. 

And Ye Xiao Xiao smiles at him. "See, you are the one overthinking nowadays. How can they bully me again when I have you? I will break their necks!"

Lu Min Chen laughs at her words. "The me if they do not treat you well. I will bring you to work in my office."

"Tsk tsk," Ye Xiao Xiao laughs. "You make me feel like a spoiled kid."

"To me, you are," Lu Min Chen says and looks at her lovingly. "Should we go home? We cannot work if you are tired."

"No! No! No!" Ye Xiao Xiao shakes her head. "We have more than one hour. I will wait for you, okay?" She says and runs away.

She does not want to be taken home now in front of everyone. And all her colleagues are still working now. She cannot be the first to leave.

Lu Min Chen feels like he can run after her. He wants to stay more with her.

But he stops himself. She is his after all. With time, she will love him back.

He looks at her escaping back and smiles. Recently, her attitude towards him has changed a lot. 

Maybe she has already began falling for him. And he wishes that that is not just his illusions.

He just needs to handle his grandpa quickly. Then he can live happily with the woman he likes.

He knows that his grandpa is going to learn about his secret marriage to Ye Xiao Xiao soon.

And he will get mad again. But as long as he finds a good excuse, he will have dealt with two birds all at once.

The old man will not pressure him into marrying those two women. And the more they are away from him, the happier he will be.
