When Ye Xiao Xiao realises that the meeting has been adjourned, she runs back to her office. 

And her feelings are so mixed up. Why did Lu Min Chen defend her that firmly?

Could it be that he loves her too?

"Miss Ye president Lu is calling you," Senior Te's voice brings her back to her senses.

But before she can look at him well, he walks off to his office. Ye Xiao Xiao can not even tell if he is mad at her or not.

She slowly stands up to go back to Lu Min Chen's office. But her mind is chaotic.

The words that Lu Min Chen said really touched her. He defended her before all those people.

He even said that if any money was to be deducted because of her, it should be done from his own salary.

She knows that she is getting to emotional, but she just cannot prevent herself.

In a confused manner, she reaches Lu Min Chen's office. Just as she raised her hand to knock, she hears a very familiar voice.

"It is about us...Ah Chen..."

She withdraws her hand and freezes in place. That is Lei Ran. She is in there?

There is silence for a while. And she does not know what is actually happening.

Then...

"What do you mean Miss Lei?" Lu Min Chen asks in surprise. He tries his best to remain seated.

But he is already feeling so irritated with her closeness. Her strongly perfumed body makes his nose stink.

He only likes Ye Xiao Xiao's natural smell. She does not put on these strong perfumes like all the other women.

"Ah Chen, grandpa called me. He wanted me to ask you when we shall get married," Lei Ran speaks up at last.

And Lu Min Chen creases his brows. "Miss Lei? Was there something like that between us?"

Lu Min Chen knew from the beginning that this woman had some feelings towards him.

But he was never offended since she never even once took things over board. She did her work well and maintained her distance.

But today...where the hell does she get the energy to talk about marriage with him?

"Ah Chen, I have always loved you. I love you. I am what I am today because I wanted to level up to you. Let us get married, please?"

She begs, and she moves even closer to him, touching him. 

Lu Min Chen gets so much irritated. First, he hates the way she addresses him. Only two women can call him that. And that is his mom and Xiao Xiao.

He stands up immediately. He does not have time to entertain any other women. "Miss Lei, I have always respected you so much because of your good performance at work. I know you still have some self restraint. Please..." He says and points for her towards the door.

"Ah Chen please..." Lei Ran looks at him with a fast beating heart. 

But she chooses to believe that he is just acting hard. He must be in love with her too.
