CH314. You are so dumb

"Mmh?" Lu Min Chen asks, stopping beside her.

"Do you still hate me?" She asks him.  She really wants to know what he feels about her.

Lu Min Chen turns to look at her and creases his brows. "I am not sure who ever gave you the idea that I hate you?" He asks her and pinches her waist.

Ye Xiao Xiao is quite for a while, then she looks at him again. "Does that mean that you love me?"

"What do you think?" Lu Min Chen asks her and holds her hand so that they can continue walking outside.

He wants to get mad at her for asking such a question even after she rejected two of his rings.

But he knows that this is his fate. He wants to be careful with what he does.

And he cannot rush another confession now. What if she turns him down the same way?

"I am not thinking anything," Ye Xiao Xiao replies. But her heart is filled with so much joy. "I am just confused by your attitude towards me."

He does not hate her. So it is up to her to make him fall in love with her. That is not a bad starting point.

"You are so dumb," Lu Min Chen answers her.

But the atmosphere between them does not change like in the past. Ye Xiao Xiao does not even feel offended that she has been called dumb.

And happily, they go to work. Ye Xiao Xiao even fails to take notice that she has not had her periods for two months already.

On the last day of the month, Ye Xiao Xiao gets a little sad after she is told that the things she destroyed are going to be deducted from her salary.

She broke three desktops plus one laptop in total. That is more than her three month's salary!

Lu Min Chen told her that no one would dare do it. But she knows that this is the company's rule, it cannot be changed for her.

As her boss goes out to report to  President Castle, like they normally do at the end of every month, Ye Xiao Xiao looks out sadly.

Her neighbour, Chu Rui looks at her. " Why don't you ask them to take a little just every month?"

And Ye Xiao Xiao feels even sadder. "It is okay. I just feel like I do not want to work with such brittle things anymore...".

In the president's office, Senior Te finishes his reports. Then he clears his throat.

"President Lu, the newcomer, Ye Xiao Xiao broke a total of three desktops and a laptop," he says and stares at the woman on the other end.

He knows that Miss Lei Ran hates Ye Xiao Xiao, just from the few times they have interacted.

And since he wants to please her, just like any other person would want to please those with power, he decides to speak it out in front of the president.
