CH312. A kiss would do?

"Yes?" Lu Min Chen asks, starting to lose his patience. Lei Ran is always a reasonable person. What is getting into her nowadays?

"Can I please have a word with Miss Ye?" Lei Ran asks, smiling at Ye Xiao Xiao.

Lu Min Chen pauses and looks at the woman in his embrace. And Ye Xiao Xiao straightens up.

But before she says anything, Lu Min Chen turns to look at Lei Ran. "It is lunch time. You can find her after the meal?"

"Okay, I am sorry. I just wanted to ask if she is done with work already," Lei Ran says.

Lu Min Chen creases his brows. " Was it you that gave her more work?" 

Lei Ran tenses up seeing his expression. "Nope, she broke Miss Han's laptop and agreed that she would do her job. No one forced her."

Lu Min Chen looks at Ye Xiao Xiao again. "Is it true?" 

"Mmh," she nods. She agreed to do the job. But it just that they asked her to do it.

"The next time the same happens, I will ask you Miss Lei. No one is allowed to bully her," he says seriously.

"Okay," Lei Ran agrees through gritted teeth. She curls her fingers and they dig into her flesh. And she curses Ye Xiao Xiao in her heart so many times.

"You can leave then," Lu Min Chen says and closes his door behind them.

"Break more of their laptops if they try to harrass you," Lu Min Chen tells her as they take a seat. "But do not take up their work. I will punish you if you do it again."

Ye Xiao Xiao laughs softly. "The more I break them the lesser my salary. Do you want me poor?" She asks him.

And Lu Min Chen pinches her cheeks. "Let me see who dares deduct your salary for that. " 

Ye Xiao Xiao smiles at him. And she wishes that she had seen this side of his a long time ago.

"Ah Chen, thank you," she says and hugs him.

"You should reward me with something instead?" Lu Min Chen asks teasingly and looks at her face.

"What?" Ye Xiao Xiao asks shyly. These are usually her best moments. Being defended by the man she loves makes her happy.

"Maybe a kiss would do? Come on, give me a kiss," Lu Min Chen says and brings his face closer to her.

Ye Xiao Xiao blushes. But she does not push him aside. She stands on her tiptoes and kisses his lips.

But she withdraws very quickly, and hides her face away from him.

Lu Min Chen smiles as he licks his lips that are filled with her taste. "Next time, it will be something better than that, right?"

Ye Xiao Xiao assumes him and takes a seat. And Lu Min Chen opens his lunch box that his assistant has already brought.

Like a happy couple, they share the food. And Ye Xiao Xiao wishes that it was always like this everyday.
