CH310. You broke the laptop

"Miss Ye, did I do something for you to hate me on my first day of work? You should have let it out on me instead of knocking off the laptop. What am I going to do? Senior Te will think that I am careless," Han Chan says as tears fall from her eyes.

"What happened here?" A young man's voice is heard. It is Senior Te, the one on top of the IT department.

"She knocked off Miss Han's laptop," one of the colleagues says, pointing her finger at Ye Xiao Xiao.

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at her and back at Han Chan. Then she looks at Senior Te without any worry.

"Did you knock it off? Do you know that destruction of any property is always deducted from your salary?" Senior Te asks, looking at Ye Xiao Xiao.

Ye Xiao Xiao nods her head at him and goes back to her work. Even if she tries explaining things to him, no one will believe her.

Her attitude annoys Senior Te. "If I am not wrong, you are just a new by too," he says, forgetting that he was lectured the other day because of overworking her.

"She is too rude," some of her colleagues begin speaking among themselves.

Ye Xiao Xiao assumes them and looks up at Senior Te again. "Senior Te, I am really sorry. I did not mean to appear rude. But I know no one will believe me if I say that I did not knock it down, right?"

"Who would? You knocked it off. Everyone saw it!" Han Chan says, almost screaming.

"Okay, I will take responsibility," Ye Xiao Xiao says and nods at Senior Te.

"Did something happen?" Another voice is heard and Ye Xiao Xiao looks up. Lei Ran is here already?

Someone explains to her, saying how Ye Xiao Xiao bullied a new by by knocking off her laptop when she asked for help.

"Oh, she wants to take responsibility?" Lei Ran asks. "What about the work that was supposed to be done by miss Han? She has to take responsibility for that too."

And it is obvious that she hates Ye Xiao Xiao. She was so stupid to think that Lei Ran had forgotten about her.

"Miss Ye," Senior Te calls. "What Miss Lei is trying to say is that you have to do the work that Miss Han was supposed to do today."

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at him with creased brows. The she looks at Lei Ran. "If that is what Miss Lei wants, then I will have to do it," she says.

"Stop making it sound like I bullied you. You broke the laptop. You have to do it!" Lei Ran says calmly.

Ye Xiao Xiao nods again and continues with her work. She might make all these people here her enemies if she keeps arguing with them. The best solution is to act dumb.

She accepts the work she is given and works all through the morning, without even a break.
