CH296. I want to sleep while holding you

" It is for now," Ye Xiao Xiao says. "I do not even know how he got it."

Lu Min Chen relaxes, but he says nothing about it anymore. He looks at her. "Just be careful in the future. I will trying looking to know what they want."

Ye Xiao Xiao nods her head. Then she looks at Lu Min Chen in the eyes. "Ah Chen," she calls sweetly.

The world seems to have stopped for Lu Min Chen. He looks at her in disbelief. Did she willingly call him that?

"Mmh?"

"I am sorry," she says and hugs him. She knows she has to apologize to him.

"Why are you sorry?" Lu Min Chen asks her softly.

"About yesterday. I should not have been harsh on you. It is just that Lin Mo and I..."

Lu Min Chen kisses her lips to stop her from saying more. He does not want to hear anything about Lin Mo and her.

"It is okay," he says. "I did not blame you."

"Thank you," Ye Xiao Xiao says. She wants to explain more, but she realises that he does not want to talk about it. So she shuts up.

Lu Min Chen carries her and puts her on his laps. Ye Xiao Xiao wants to struggle but he hugs her tightly. "I am tired, I want to sleep while holding you."

Ye Xiao Xiao stops and lets him do as he wants. After all, he has saved her.

Lu Min Chen looks at the front seats where the driver he asked for has already arrived.

He knew that his assistant would be so tired to drive back and so called for a new one after he found out where Ye Xiao Xiao was.

"Drive," he says and buries his face on her neck.

It is then that Ye Xiao Xiao realises that there were other people in the car.

Li Chan is sitting on the passenger seat that has been adjusted to a comfortable position. Maybe he is sleeping?

Could that mean that they did not sleep the whole night? They were looking for her!

She wants to say something more to Lu Min Chen but she stops. She should let him sleep.

The car drives off, and Ye Xiao Xiao finds herself falling asleep too. The place she is sitting, in his embrace, is just so comfortable for her.

But before doing so, she promises herself some things.

She has to treat Lu Min Chen better from today. He gave up his sleep and peace just to find her.

And she has to be a good wife to him too. Since he does not like Lin Mo, she will try not talking to him in Lu Min Chen's presence.

That might improve their relationship. After all, he is the man she loves. She would like to be with him forever.

And for that to work out, she will have to make sure that he falls in love with her. Only then can she be assured of her position in his life.
