CH268. Change into this

Lu Min Chen stops in front of her room. He had wanted to just walk in, but something stopped him.

He raises his hand and knocks gently. And he smiles at his own actions. He cannot remember when he ever did something like this.

And not to mention that this is his own house. And that the girl inside is the woman he loves and would like to tease every second.

Ye Xiao Xiao is a bit shocked. When did the Maniac change? He even knows how to knock on the door!

"Yes," she says and takes in a deep breath.

The door is pushed open and Lu Min Chen walks in with his long legs and handsome face.

Ye Xiao Xiao tries not looking at him. She is scared that her fast beating heart might betray her.

"Good afternoon Xiao Xiao," Lu Min Chen greets and stops before her, pulling her up and hugging her.

If Lin Mo could hug her in the morning, who is he not to?

Ye Xiao Xiao is a bit shocked by his actions. But she relaxes when she sees his calm expression on the face.

Isn't he mad at her for being with Lin Mo in the morning?

"Are you ready? We need to go," Lu Min Chen says gently to her.

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at him in confusion. To go?

"We are supposed to get married today. You have not forgotten, right?" Lu Min Chen asks her. 

Something that shocks Ye Xiao Xiao is how patient his voice is today. She has never seen this side of Lu Min Chen.

But the marriage... He had not forgotten about it?

She thought that when he left in the morning, he had given up on it. After all, he might have never been serious about it.

"Can we go?" Lu Min Chen says, not minding that she has not said a word to him from the very beginning.

That is just how patient he has gotten because of her. He is willing to swallow his pride and beg her. It does not matter as long as that will make him have her.

Ye Xiao Xiao looks at his face and nods gently.

Lu Min Chen purses his lips. She gave in that quickly? He was waiting for her to throw some harsh words at him.

"Are you okay with this or are you going for a change of clothes?" Lu Min Chen asks her again.

And her reply is just a nod as usual. Lu Min Chen sighs. He pats her shoulder. " Wait a second," and he goes out.

He comes back some minutes later with a bag in his hands. " Change into this," he says and hands her the bag.

Ye Xiao Xiao has the urge to refuse the bag. But she decides against it and nods her head.

After he has gone out to give her time to dress, Ye Xiao Xiao takes out the thing in the bag.

And a very beautiful white dress comes to her view. There is a pair of shoes too.
