CH265. I am going to see brother Mo

But after some time, it goes silent. It seems like he has given up and decided to leave.

She goes to the balcony again to take a look, but he is still there, waiting outside his car.

Unable to hold herself back anymore, Ye Xiao Xiao wipes away a tear.

For some reason, this scene reminds her of that day after her dad's burial.

She had locked herself up in their house and refused to get out or see anyone.

And Lin Mo had stood outside her house just like today. He stood there for a full day, without leaving.

He was the only person that cared about her that time.

And today, history is repeating again. But it is just that he is in the wrong.

Having gained her courage, she slowly descends the stares. She will give him another chance.

If he ruins it, then she will not have anything more to say to him.

But once she reaches the last stair, she meets Lu Min Chen's gaze. He is waiting in the leaving room.

Ye Xiao Xiao freezes for a second. Then assuming his gaze, she begins walking outside.

Lu Min Chen stands up immediately. "Xiao Xiao, are you going somewhere?"

Ye Xiao Xiao halts in her steps. She wants to assume his question, but she remembers that she is still staying in his house.

And she is not sure of how things are going to be after meeting Lin Mo. She cannot just destroy the bridge after crossing successfully to the other side. She might need to cross the same bridge again.

"I am going to see Brother Mo," she says calmly and continues walking.

Lu Min Chen watches her back quietly, but his insides are burning. She is not over him yet?

He wants to stop her, but he realises that he does not have any right to do it.

He would have used the title of her husband if they had already registered for marriage.

But he cannot use it yet. She might feel like he will suppress her after marriage and refuse getting married to him.

He slowly walks after her, but stops some distance from the gate.

Lin Mo is still looking at his phone, hoping that Ye Xiao Xiao will reply to atleast one of his texts when he hears the sound of the gate opening.

He looks up immediately, and he sees Ye Xiao Xiao walking towards him. 

For a moment, he does not know what to do. She really came out. He knew she would. 

He stares at her with teary eyes as she approaches him, and he resists the urge to run forward and hug her.

What if she came out for another reason?

When she is some distance away from him, he remembers that his aim for being here is asking for forgiveness from her.

He immediately kneels before her. "Xiao Xiao," he calls quietly.

Ye Xiao Xiao tenses up when she sees him kneeling. Even though Lin Mo is always a happy man, he is always so proud too.
