Lu Min Chen remains silent for a while. He has never understood why his grandpa has so much hatred towards Ye Xiao Xiao.

Is it because he knows that he, Lu Min Chen, is crazily in love with her?

"I will think of a way to handle him for the time being," Lu Min Chen answers almost quietly.

Ye Xiao Xiao is shocked when Madam Lu runs into the room. She had not expected her to appear now.

"Xiao Xiao," Madam Lu asks and hugs her on the bed. "Are you okay?"

Ye Xiao Xiao freezes. But she nods her head. "I am fine," she says.

"No, I do not trust you. Why are you on bed now? I have heard of what that happened. Was Ah Chen too hard on you?"

Ye Xiao Xiao blushes and looks away. They know about it. She knew it would never be kept a secret.

"Xiao Xiao, do not worry. Mom here is on your side," she says and pats her head. "Look at how weak you are. Come on, we shall eat something."

Saying that, she takes the food from the servant and brings it closer to her mouth. "You need to get stronger now."

"Um..." Ye Xiao Xiao tries to find an excuse, but the woman does not give her any chance.

And left with no choice, Ye Xiao Xiao allows the woman to feed her all through.

Lu Min Chen and Lu Hong walk together into the room just as Madam Lu puts aside the dishes.

"You are here," she says and looks up at the two men.

"Master Lu," Ye Xiao Xiao greets fearly, wishing that she was able to dig a hole to hide in.

But she feels anger and hatred towards Lu Min Chen. He forced himself on her. And now, she is the only one struggling to face the others.

For him, he is walking freely as though nothing concerns him.

"How are you child?" Lu Hong asks in a gentle tone. He has respect for her. She is the only woman who has ever piqued his son's interest.

"I am fine," Ye Xiao Xiao answers, a bit relaxed. He does not blame her too, just like his wife.

"Now you," Madam Lu says while pointing her finger at Lu Min Chen. "What are you planning to do with our Xiao Xiao. You cannot leave her like this."

Lu Min Chen looks at his mom and feels like laughing. He never knew that she would be this good at acting.

If she had not been the one who gave him the idea of forcing himself on Ye Xiao Xiao, he would have thought that she was actually blaming him.

But now, he understands that she is doing her best in helping him get her.
