CH211. All girls like such things

He remembers how she did not even hesitate to agree to Lin Mo's proposal about him seeing her.

Madam Lu pauses for a second. Then she looks at her son in confusion. "Are you sure you don't want us to talk about it? You already did that to her. Don't tell me that you are trying to run away from your responsibities," She says sternly. 

"Mom!" Lu Min Chen calls. "We have not gone that far. I am still trying to chase after her. Can't you get it?"

Madam Lu is stupefied. "Stop lying you feel. Anyone could tell it..."

She stops and looks at Lu Min Chen. Her son has never lied about something.

And now that he is madly in love with Ye Xiao Xiao, he would have agreed if anything had happened between them.

So, nothing really happened? But why? They shared the same room!

Another thought comes to her mind. Madam Lu stops to look at him. "Ah Chen, she does not like you?" She asks in pity. 

She can see that her son is head over heels for Ye Xiao Xiao. Could it be that she is not interested in him?

Lu Min Chen looks away, saying nothing. That is the painful truth. The woman he loves does not have any eye for him.

"Why don't you tell her that you saved her in the past? She will want to pay you back," Madam Lu suggests.

"Mom, are you stupid? I don't want her to feel any guilty, okay? I will not tell her that. It will also put her life at risk," Lu Min Chen says.

"What about confessing to her directly? I know you are yet to do that. Why are all of you so poor when it comes to this. I had to personally confess to your dad. I am sure we would still be beating around the bush if I had not taken the initiative...just go and tell her that you love her and would like to date her. All girls like such things," Madam Lu continues her blabbering.

Lu Min Chen looks at his mother as though he is a fool. 

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Madam Lu asks with a pout.

Heavens know. She is trying her best to help this son of hers who has a low emotional quotient. And here he is, not grateful at all.

It is just that he is her son. She would have kicked him out of the house if he had not been.

Lu Min Chen sighs. It is obvious that he is still troubled over something. 

"She is meeting another man tomorrow," he states quietly.

How the hell is he supposed to confess to a person who is going on a date with another man?

"Uh?" Madam Lu opens her mouth in shock. "You mean that Ye Xiao Xiao is dating someone else?"

It seems like a very bad thing to her. Her face looks like she has just lost the most precious thing in the world.
