CH210. Is it all about Xiao Xiao?

"Okay," Ye Xiao Xiao says. She also misses him. It has been a long time since they last met.

But hearing her answer, Lu Min Chen gets angry. He slowly gets up and leaves, without saying a word.

She still wants to meet him. She wants to be with Lin Mo.

No matter how good he, Lu Min Chen, tries to be, he can never match up to Lin Mo.

However, Ye Xiao Xiao does not even bother about him. "Just tell me when you get to the city. I will tell you where I will be," she says.

"Okay, see you soon dear," Lin Mo says and hangs up.

He looks at the man beside him. "She agreed," he says. "Does that mean that she might be in love with me too?"

She did not think first before agreeing to him seeing her tomorrow. 

The man hesitates. "There is a possibility. But we cannot dwell on that. Let us say, for example, what will happen if she turns you down? You might ruin your relationship for good. You know she has been taking you for an elder brother..."

"I have been having the same thought since long ago. And that is the reason I have never had a chance to tell her how I feel. And I am afraid I might be late if I don't tell her now. I know she won't turn me down. She loves me too," Lin Mo says. 

He wants to believe that Ye Xiao Xiao loves him back. He wants her in his life. He wants to marry her and have kids with her.

But he looks worried. What if she really turns him down?

"I have prepared everything. I am not stepping down today. I have to be positive, right?" He asks his friend.

The friend nods his head. "I wish you the best man. All shall be well."

When Lu Min Chen leaves Ye Xiao Xiao's room, he drives straight to his parents' house, startling everyone.

It has been a very long time since he ever came here. But his mom is so happy, ordering the kitchen to prepare all his meals.

"You came back son?" Madam Lu asks. "You probably have something disturbing you. Do you want to share it with mommy?"

"I have nothing to discuss with you," Lu Min Chen answers indifferently.

"Tell me. Is it all about Xiao Xiao? Ah Chen, do you love her?" She asks.

Lu Min Chen throws her a glance before looking away. And this confirms her thoughts.

"Ah Chen, what are you waiting for? Should we prepare for a wedding? You should marry her..."

She stops and thinks of something. Then she frowns. "Um...Ah Chen? Doesn't she love you back? Did she turn you down?"

That could explain why her son has been looking like this the last few days. "Does she have someone she loves? Too bad...son, what should we do? We have to make her ours," she says.

"You don't get it. I don't want to talk about anything now," Lu Min Chen says as sadness spreads over his face.
