CH204. I will teach you

"Mmh?" Lu Min Chen asks looking at her. "Why shouldn't I do them?"

"Umm...just forget it. I am going to tidy up now. Just leave first," Ye Xiao Xiao says and begins picking up the things from the floor.

But Lu Min Chen shakes his head. "I am helping you," he says and arranges the clothes neatly in the wardrobe.

Knowing that she will not be able to change his mind, Ye Xiao Xiao gives up. And together, the begin tidying up.

Lu Min Chen looks at the bed that Ye Xiao Xiao has just spread and sighs again.

"Get the sheet off the bed," he says. Who spreads the bed like that?

"Why? I just spread it," Ye Xiao Xiao says with lit up eyes. "Look, I even straightened it well!"

Lu Min Chen looks at her bright eyes and runs short of words. The bed sheet is just upside down and  inside out. Yet she is here praising herself.

"Are you even a girl Ye Xiao Xiao?" Lu Min Chen asks her as he removes the sheet.

Ye Xiao Xiao pouts. "I might be a boy, I don't know," she answers and looks away.

Lu Min Chen pauses. Is she mad?

"Ye Xiao Xiao, you actually did a great job straightening the sheets. But you had put it wrongly," he says to comfort her.

He does not like it when she is sad, especially when it is because of him. 

Right now, he enjoys doing such things with her. It makes him feel like he is a responsible husband, taking care if his irresponsible and stubborn wife.

"Wrongly? Is there a right way?" She questions. Isn't spreading a bed just putting the sheet on the bed? Is there a rule in spreading too...

"Come on. I will teach you," Lu Min Chen says. She really does not know.

Ye Xiao Xiao moves closer to the bed and looks at it. She waits as Lu Min Chen pulls the sheet out of the bed.

"When spreading, you have to pay attention to the patterns on the sheet. For example, this sheet has words on it. You cannot put it upside down," he says and points at the words 'little loving flower' on the sheet.

He smiles, imaging her as the little loving flower. She is a flower that never withers in his heart. She keeps blossoming with every season 

"You have to put the sheet in a way that you can read the words uprightly. You had put it upside down," he adds as he spreads the bed neatly.

Ye Xiao Xiao nods in understanding. She has never known of such things in her life.

But how did Lu Min Chen learn of all these when he was brought up in a good life?

"The same is for sheets with flowers and any other patterns. Just make sure they upright," Lu Min Chen says and places the pillows neatly on the bed. 

"Look, isn't the room neat now?" He asks her and walks closer to her.
