CH158. Lu Min Chen's future wife

The old man's face turns even darker, but he says nothing. What can he say? Lu Min Chen has only called her intimately.

Lu Min Chen turns to Ye Xiao Xiao. "Xiao Xiao, this is my sister, Yu Yan. And these are my brothers." 

Ye Xiao Xiao smiles at them warmly. She looks so adorable with her blushed up face.

"She is nice," Lu Yu Tan, who is always so rare with comments says.

"Third brother, is she the girl you are getting engaged to? She will make a nice wife," the talkative Lu Yu Bin. He asks yet he already knows who Han Chan is.

Lu Min Chen smiles when he hears their conversation. "Mmh, she is nice," he says and looks at Ye Xiao Xiao with love.

Bang!

The old man knocks on the table. "Why don't all of you shut up?" He asks.

The people on the table are shocked. What is with the anger? They look at Han Chan but none if them says anything to her.

Lu Yu Bin smiles and moves closer to Lu Min Chen. "You are formidable third brother. You actually brought a woman with you when grandpa has already prepared one for you?" 

Lu Min Chen just looks at him calmly and says nothing. But Ye Xiao Xiao opens her eyes in shock when she hears them. Is he going to get engaged today?

Why didn't he tell her? She was not even aware that he was going to get engaged to Han Chan. She would not have come with him.

And...why did he ask her to be his girlfriend? Was he trying to play a trick on her?

He had the guts of proposing such a thing when he knew very well that he is going to get engaged to someone else.

She feels bad, but she says nothing. She cannot even if she wanted to say it.

So, did he bring her here to be the laughing stock of everyone?

Lu Min Chen looks at Ye Xiao Xiao and realises that she is sad. He stretches his hands under the table and holds hers.

Ye Xiao Xiao, who is still fuming tries to pull away her hands but Lu Min Chen does not let her be.

"Min Chen," the old man calls and fixes his glare on Ye Xiao Xiao. "I hope you told her about your engagement?" He asks.

Lu Min Chen takes a sip of his juice and says nothing in reply. He even assumes like he is not the one the old man is talking to.

But the man does not stop. He turns to look at Ye Xiao Xiao. "Miss Ye, this is Han Chan, Lu Min Chen's future wife. I think you already know each other."

Everything on the table goes silent. Lu Min Chen's face turns dark and cold. And he turns to look at Ye Xiao Xiao to hear what she has to say.

Ye Xiao Xiao remains so quiet at first. She is shocked that the old man has personally decided to make things straight to her.
