CH127. Too sugary

However, seeing him sharing a snack with that woman shocks her. Does he eat these kind of things?

"Too sugary," Lu Min Chen says as he swallows the piece of biscuit.

"I like it because it is sugary," Ye Xiao Xiao says without any care and stuffs more into her mouth.

Lu Min Chen creases his brows in worry. He snatches the bowl from her hands. "You will spoil your teeth. Don't eat too much of it," he says.

Ye Xiao Xiao attempts to get it back. "Give it to me!" She says. "Anyway, my teeth are already spoiled."

But Lu Min Chen does not hand it over. "You will eat it later. Be a good girl," he says and pats her head adoringly.

Ye Xiao Xiao listens to him and  does not fight for it anymore. After all, she has already eaten a lot.

Whoa! This house is so good. There are too many snacks, most of which she likes.

Even if he does not want her to eat them now, she can just sneak into her room with more later. She has to make use of them now.

Little does she know that these snacks were bought just when she came yesterday. There has never been things like these in this house.

"You don't look well. Did something happen?" Lu Min Chen asks as he looks at her carefully. She usually wears this look whenever she is wronged. It cannot be because of the snacks, right?

Ye Xiao Xiao remembers that she was previously angry and lifts her head to stare at the woman at the corner.

"Young Master, you had a visitor. We shall leave you alone now," she says and attempts to stand up, throwing a hateful look at Lei Ran.

Lu Min Chen holds her back to the sofa and follows her line of sight. He seems a bit surprised seeing Lei Ran in his house.

"Miss Lei? Why are you here?" He asks with furrowed brows. It is like he is just seeing her now.

Though unsatisfied, Lei Ran still wears a smile and holds her files that are on the table. "I am sorry I did not inform President Lu. But there are matters I would like to discuss with you, if you are not busy."

Lu Min Chen looks at Butler questioningly. Butler Hu shakes in fear. He knows that The Young Master does not like to have meetings at home.

"I tried to..." Butler Hu tries to explain, but Lu Min Chen waves his hand at him.

"Miss Lei, this is my home. You should find me in the office for business matters," Lu Min Chen  says coldly.

He had come home to spend time with Ye Xiao Xiao. He did not want things like those of the company to disturb him.

"I did not find you the past almost one week, and the collaboration with the Ning has an issue. I am sorry I disturbed your peace," Lei Ran explains quickly.
